cover that window berfor your out befor you know it. 30 gal rubber tub will help alot good light for now but mve it.

haha same here, when you make your box you should make a fitting for you ballast and light. like the top of a shoe box, make it light proof and make it that he fits jus enough so that you can raise the lights with out lettng light in from the top, if you get that haha, so jus build like a tall box, and make it the height that you want the plants to grow, then like i said make a fiting so that the ballast is like a square that fit inside the original square thats i would put the pic up i made in paint but stupid riu wont uplaod it, even tho its lower then the limit size..,(well i just saved the pic you made...) so back to what i was saying, i outlines in a bolder line the top part of your grow box, as you can see there is now a mox fitting that the balast is made into, then you can make your actually box a little bigger of a square so you can slid the light up and down, haha

u could also just make a curtain out of panda film, its completely light proof and will not retain heat like a box will. it will stay the same temp as as the room then which will create perfect conditions for the plants. u can hang it right from the ceiling with the help of a 1x2 piece of wood. so no building is invilved. i always use panda to cover my grow room walls and for curtains to separate veg from flower. u can also hang a seperate piece to cover the opening in front. then u can just roll that piece up to access the plants and back down to block the light while u sleep. its also washable and reflects 90% of the light back onto your plants.

all sounds good, i think ill use both ur ideas, but i cant get panda film were i am, so im gonna make my box outa cardboard :]]]] and then stick some space blanket up on the walls, and use a curtain for the door like u said loli. ive got plenty of time too, cos my netted pots r still comin off ebay cos they didnt have any small cheap 1's at bunnings.

panda only comes in large rolls from hydro shops, so probably not worth it for a curtain.. if u want a lightproof curtain just get some 4mil black plastic from home depot and tape a space blanket to the back side to reflect the light. or anything along those lines. GL with everything.
