That's rite you did reply my bad ....just smoked plus ate a cookie from a well known member a lil while ago .....so I'm stoned all overLol yeah I saw that. I thought I replied too. Quite honestly its my favorite answer so far. Very simple but at the same time it says a lot. Plus fuckin hilarious
I usually eat fries or a burrito rite after a scratch session .....any food you eat using your hands works well ...@ Indacouch Yeah and be sure you don't forget to smell those fingers after a good ball scratching wouldn't want to let those lovely terpenes go to waste LMAO !
High temps will lessen them to. Its not really the high temps, its just usually warmer during the day.But realistically the plants are made to utilize light and these kinds of plants thrive in heavy light environments, it seems odd that light could destroy terpenes. Excess heat destroying them makes a lot more sense to me. Ill definitely look into it a bit more and see what I can find though. I've been wrong manya time
That is a really fantastic link!
that is excessive and has no real point. I could see extending the final dark period out to 24 hours or so. At 4 days the plant is starting to die and by 7 days will be close to dead.Sometimes I use a long dark period before chop like 4 days long.
That's actually not true depending on what genetics he's running. There are some sativa strains that have been proven to be benefited by up to 2 weeks of darkness! This seems scary and outlandish but its actually true. And 3 or 4 days with most hybrids is acceptable and some good. Some strains actually will end up producing a large amount of excess resin during that period. I believe its a defense mechanism. Don't quote me on that one though lolthat is excessive and has no real point. I could see extending the final dark period out to 24 hours or so. Duuuuuuuude y'all are missing the best terps! Gotta make sure to scratch the guch areaI usually eat fries or a burrito rite after a scratch session .....any food you eat using your hands works well ...
Obviously without washing my hands for any noobs looking in
The flush myth again. No point in flushing. You cant flush a plant only the medium. The plant is literally what you fed it. How can you flush it?I do already know to chop at night and its actually best to chop in the middle of the lights of and more towards the beginning half as this is when the plant allows the most fertilizers to sink back to the root zone. Though with a proper flush it really doesn't matter as much for smoothness. Still good to have the hormone boost though.
I'm not asking y'all to bust out the crayons. I'm trying to hear some trigonometry
That is wrong. Two weeks would kill it.That's actually not true depending on what genetics he's running. Link it then if its been proven. You cant flush something from the plant. Once its there, its there. Sorry. You can only remove salts from your soil. The flush myth? Oh dear your one of those people. Scientists have tested heavy metal and fertilizer content of bud flushed and not and have proven its no myth. Even in organic its necessary. Flushing agents are useful in different ways for each as well.
In synthetic generally the chelates will basically snag onto extra nutrients and pull them out. As well as cleaning out your medium so that your plant isn't continuing to suck up unnecessary salts.
In organic if you use a flushing agent it will kill off your beneficial microbe population which in turn slows down enzyme production and the plants ability to absorb nutrients as quickly.
Have you ever tried any of this or are you just spewing out your as whole still. I'm honestly getting tired of you. That is wrong. Two weeks would kill it.
You believe in flushing and now up to two weeks darkness.
Please link one study that says 2 weeks. Link one that says 3-4 days increases resin. Not forum gossip but actual studies.
It does nothing for resin or potency. It only increases terpenes, which could add to the buzz.
This has been debated before here and a member showed their plants after a power outage. At a week they were dead.
There is a lot of bs and myth when it comes to cannabis. Using paper towels to germ, only fifth grade science class and cannabis growers do that. Flushing, not a real term. Its called leeching and only removes salt buildup. Nails in stems. Hacking leaves off. All kinds of myth to make the plants better.
The best a person can do is take care of the plant and yield and potency follows. I do use UV in my grows. That will add to potency.
Look you are the one claiming this stuff as fact but cant back it up.Have you ever tried any of this or are you just spewing out your as whole still. I'm honestly getting tired of you.
Your obviously someone with a large amount of knowledge and experience from 10 years ago and you decided that your better and know better than all the rest and you won't look forward. A forum is a place for discussion not assholes who always need to be right
That is not how it works. You claimed it had been scientifically proven. You claimed it so prove it.And if you want proof Google it yourself its all over the damn place. If your too blind to see it then my statement 2 comments ago holds true
