Not necessarily. Alcohol is not very good against mold spores. It evaporates too quickly as does lysol. Read the label, the surface needs to be wet for over five minutes in order for it to work at all.

I've tried everything from industrial stuff to lab grade. Double strength bleach solution seems to be the very best.

I'll post back later today. Harvesting my second flush of Mazatapec, I aso have a cake of B+ mushrooms that is ready to fruit. I'll be building a small fruiting chamber for the B+ today.
 
I must have good luck. When my cakes are fully colonized and im misting ill raw dog and bare hand those cakes because i got so much shit going on sometimes that I cant stop and wash my hands. They seem a lot more resilient than a lot of people make them out to be. Obviously if you're doing a big operation its a good practice. But ive never had problems. Except some bacterial contam that the mycelium is always able to conquer.
 
YYeah, man. I used to have shoeboxes Is dub tubbed on my kitchen table. I used to do everything out in the open air. Handling everything with my bare hands. No problem for some reason all of a sudden trike just attacked everything
 
So if I have a tub that had trich How would I go about cleaning that to use it again. I've been washing them out in the tub with soap and hot water and then drying them off. And then when I'm ready to spawn? I tape all the holes and then wash the inside out with rubbing alcohol. I wonder, is this enough to kill it. Or am I spawning to already trike infested Tubs.
 
I have like sixty jars that need spawned i'm Thinking about just making shoe boxes And putting them inside garbage bags to colonize

I moved on from the coco bliss. Yeah it’s convenient ordering from amazon but it’s pretty expensive.
i was getting some 5K blocks for $10 out the door at a local growshop. Isn’t the best shit but I PC it so oh well and the higher ppms don’t seem to affect anything. So that was until monday lol. I went to pick up a bunch of bricks and some other mushroom grower snatched up like 160 of them :-( cleaned them out.
So i figured fuck it and called another shop i used to deal with in a town about an hr away. They hooked me up with these for $8 out the door and it’s wasaaay better than the last crap i was buying. This shit is way cleaner. Seems similar to the bliss.

You pressure cooked a load of coco/verm and still had problems though right? I don’t see how the verm would be contaminating shit but what the hell do I know. I suck at monotubs lol

Yeah, I've been bucket teking the c. V. G. And then when it cools loaded into Turkey bags and cook it for 2 and a 1/2 hours.
 
I'm almost positive It was just tons of mold spores in the environment while i'm spawning. I've had a lot of green tubs in the same tent with my other tubs. I'm sure it was just spreading I have zero tubs now. Tore the carpet out cleaned the s*** out of everything And and I'm starting over new
 
Just got some cleaning supplies. Everything I do now is gonna be inside my tent in a haze of Disinfectant/bleach/alcohol.17038796514874930007268046238477.jpg
