anybody grow Longs Peak Blue by Rare Dankness?

Im on my first grow of this strain. Picked up a clone from a nice guy helping to raise money for his buddy amd so far iv loved the way it has grown for me. A little stretchy as compared to my usual strains, but the buds are huge and it has a very strong delicious smell.

Im at day 62 of flower, wondering if anyone else has grown this strain and how long they waited to pull it?
They say 60-75 days, but at 62 im still seeing too much clear under the scope and not a single amber.


Any reviews on the finished product would be great too, I took 2 clones off of it just before flowering and both of those are going into flower in a couple days so im trying to see if I should snip a couple more or run this out.

Your welcome mike and glad the clone did well for you. Was trying to raise a bit of scratch for glad and belle at the time with a few clone sales. I usually pull her right around 10 and 11 weeks depending on room conditions. I don't usually wait to see a lot of amber. 10 - 20% max for me.

I rarely have a plant finish within the breeder's "flower time". I'm usually another 2 weeks at least. Just sayin'.

Hey duck thats interesting to me, im still a bit of a newbie but I generally pull within 3 or 4 days of the breeder's expected date. I go by the trichs not the date, so I guess each setup may vary...

Mrbungle! Yea both the lpb and jilly worked out, I just harvested one of the jillys and just as you said it was ready to go right at 8 weeks. Took a sample of it last night and was satisfied.. the lpb is what has me excited though, im expecting it to be done within the next 10 days

Yeah I've lost interest in the jilly bean. Satisfied just doesn't do it for me anymore. Too many genetics out there to settle for satisfied ya know. Matter of fact I have just recently cut down my jilly mom and bagged her up. Made room for something better. Longs peak is definitely a keeper. Not the most potent but she's got a real nice taste and gets the job done. Not to mention the hefty harvest. Glad she's working out for you so far. She's a favorite among my patients.

I think my co2 stretches out my flower times, also I don't watch the trichs too much. I pretty much just wait for the pistils to stop forming then pull.

trichs are what you should be watching. I have plants that might be 30%amber and still have a good amount of white pistils yet. if I wait till they all brown up id be s.o.l.

Very big, beautiful buds, meh on flavor.

I just harvested some last week. Good flavor and potency, great yield. I could see it being a keeper in some gardens, I'll have to run it a couple more times before I make that determination though.

Honestly, nothing has come close to the taste and potency of my white fire for quite some time so I might be jaded. I just lost the wifi too so I guess I'll have to get used to other shit until I find someone willing to part with a cut or until seeds become available again.

Appreciate the inputs... the jilly ill have to give some time and compare, I only tried a little piece so far, letting it cure first... iv got a few different strains over here, I like the way my GDP has been growing but iv yet to harvest so I dont know if ill like it. Didnt clone it either so if I do like it ill have to grab another clone. Iv only been growing for 5 months but my buddha cheese has been my favorite. And maybe its just me being bias but id rather smoke my cheese than any of that other shit I was getting before I started...

Also iv got a new bug problem ever since I picked up my last plant. My uncle gave me a plant and a big pail of soil and now iv got these bullshit holes. Im going to make a thread in the newbie section with pics because I have no idea. Iv killed a couple centipedes so maybe thats it.

depending on how far along you gdp is you can still take cuts and just revert them. it'll take awhile but they will eventually revert to veg under 18/6 or I guess even 24/0. ive taken cuts as far in as 4 weeks. they'll look retarded for awhile but they will be fine if they root. sux about the bugs. once you identify exactly what you got you can treat them. pics would be super helpful.

i have a giant LPB from belle. It's about 6' tall. I just super cropped the hell out of it and will flower when I have the space to.

I grew out a large garden of the LPB from the same cut we all have from our boy. She'll foxtail like hell in the late weeks, and I mean fox tails off of fox tails, lol. It was a great strain for quantity, good flavor but not great, but I wish I had pulled them a little early before the buds became so deformed looking. I felt like the over all appearance fell apart which bothers me. I did not keep her.

I know what you mean about deformed buds, was deff a little harder to trim when I chopped her monday.

I've grown out a little bit of it.
Don't harvest it early, the colas really swell up fat as fuck on these things.
Let it cure and the flavor of the old blue is fabulous shit.
