I'm still pretty sure that undercover narcotics agents can legally use drugs while in the line of duty.
21 U.S.C. § 885(d):
Immunity of Federal, State, local and other officials
(d) Except as provided in sections 2234 and 2235 of Title 18, no civil or criminal liability shall be imposed by virtue of this subchapter upon any duly authorized Federal officer lawfully engaged in the enforcement of this subchapter, or upon any duly authorized officer of any State, territory, political subdivision thereof, the District of Columbia, or any possession of the United States, who shall be lawfully engaged in the enforcement of any law or municipal ordinance relating to controlled substances.

Possession of illegal narcotics is unlawful, and this is the same code that allows them to get away with possession. "lawfully engaged in the enforcement of"...in other words, they are actually working on a police operation, meaning they can't smoke crack off duty and say they are trying to do an investigation.

I asked my hubby if cops can smoke while doing an investigation. I figured he would be a good source to go too since he was a cop for 13 years....NO, they cannot. They are taught how to smoke without inhaling, how to do a line of coke without ingesting, etc...So, NO, cops cannot smoke or snort or anything illegal....

In Colorado my lawyer tells me the cops CAN smoke and will bust you. On 420 we smoke openly by the capitol at a venue of like 8000 people and lawyers come on stage and ramble on and on about this subject. We have a permit to smoke its fuckin crazy here.

Some of you guys have gotten me so paranoid. I just saw a cop go by my house and turn into the alley which is the only place that you could get a view of my window and what's growing in it. I have some grid work over the window to let sun in but distort the shape of what's growing. But with all this cop talk it got me running upstairs to shut the window. With two cups of coffee and an aderol, my heart is POUNDING! Thanks!

Because of all this talk about cops. I tend to over react sometimes. That's why I don't watch TV or read certain books. I read Crime and Punishment last year and I felt like that guy was getting in my head. I like to live in my bubble. No more talk about cops please!
