It's been my belief that fem seeds came from hermies? :?:
Not a true hermi. The colloidal silver just forces pollen sacs from a female. Its not a true herm.

I have grown a lot of fem beans. I order from reputable breeders and they are stable.

I figure I can do just as good a job. I'm going to make a colloidal silver generator.

The chemical ethylene is responsible for the female budding response, collidial silver blocks ethylene somehow, forcing the node thats sprayed to turn male in the absence of ethylene...or something like that.

Ive done it. I needed a way to keep my strains when we were house hunting. I didn't want to move live plants so I made seeds. That was a year and a half ago and I still have some of those seeds.

I've never made my own seeds but I've heard "Rodelization" is real easy to do.

1. Wait for buds to grow nanners.
2. Carefully pluck nanners and place into plastic bag.
3. Store nanners in fridge. (They can last up to a month and still be potent)
4. Rub nanners on next set of buds you grow to pollinate specific bud sites, works best on the mid to lower nugs, saving your cola for smoking goodness.
5. Harvest (mostly) feminized seeds.

My girlfriend has collodial silver, Id like to try it. Do you need a whole different grow room so they dont pollinate others?

I WOULDNT think so.

I am going to be making a micro - seed producing box. Using colloidal silver in the next month or so.

There's a bunch of info right on this site on how to make CS and make your own fem seeds with it. It's a common way of making them and preserves a lot of the original female's genetics, seeds made with this pollen are commonly referred to as S1's or "selfed".

Whether it's a female sprayed with CS or hermied due to other stresses, they both create bananas or pollen sacks and should be treated just like any male in your garden. Isolate it or it will pollinate any available female that's at least 2-3 weeks into flowering. Pollen flies around and can creep into/through any small crevice, beware if you have flowering females around when those pollen sacks start to break open.

Roughly, this is how you go about it:
1) Make or buy some CS, the purer the better
2) Spray said CS on any female you want to convert or the whole plant if it's a small plant
3) Collect the pollen when the male flowers have matured and start opening
4) Take that pollen and pollinate whatever female(s) you want to make the seeds (usually a clone of the same plant you used to make the pollen)
5) When that female is mature collect your fem seeds, wait about 4-5 weeks before trying to germinate any seeds or your germ rate will suck

Google is your friend for more details on each stage...

If you put a bag over the plant and remove it from the others and spray one branch then put it back. It will be minimum pollen. Enough to work with.

[]any one ever try this Using Colloidal Silver To Make Feminized Marijuana Seeds in your grow[/QUOTE]

This is what I do every grow, hard at first but gets easier with each grow,

I recommend using a true XX female before venturing into this shit,

as it can get very heavy, unlike many of the breeders whom we get our seeds of off,

germ out 100 plus seeds, stress the fuck out of it, (alt. 12x12 then 24/7)

the one that don't herm is the one to use ...good luck

call out
To challenge someone in some way. Or to put someone on blast.
I don't think you've really lost 300 pounds - you just say you have.

Produce some Before & After photos.

I'm calling you out!

another 'new' word ...I'm busting ass today thanks ...lol

ps if you make CS silver store it in a light proof foilar bottle, as it degrades,

few will tell u that ...lol

lol

Man is this a loaded question or what....? lol

The real truth of the matter is

...as colloidal silver is in a water solution

reading the parts per million is a misnomer

in fact dead wrong

the silver ions clog or block up the ppm reader

as the ppm tool works by reading the electrical conductivity between the 2 anodes

any conductive element other than water between the two anodes would give an incorrect reading

this is the camp I belong too, there are other camps,

including one group that suggests making ur own but only at atmospheric conditions of 15c/1024HpA

10-12 hours at 12vdc in ro water with the best silver you can find is good

good luck
