Any input on Dutch lighting innovation's diode series?

I'm considering trying one of these dli diode series top lighting. My local shop just picked them up, retail is around $500 USD. I was considering trying it in the spot of one of my 315 CMH lights. Then using my extra 315 in a veg room. Or do ya'll have any other suggestions of an LED replacement for a 315 CMH that is around the same price or cheaper?

Interesting light. A more barebones option would be HLG 300 L Rspec. Think theres a rollitup discount.

The DI website has some more info but not really that forthcoming. You caan adjust red/white ratio. Says ppf up to 1000 but not clear if its ppfd or ppf/w. No sphere tests or mention of which diodes they use. These kinda things usually put me off, email the mfter and ask some questions re diodes and independent tests of ppf and see what you get from them.
Having never seen them even on the euro market doesnt promise much

Its a very unclear DS, says 1000 on occasion (i thind rhe red blue?) 750 for indoor white, which is white with loads of red sup. Not sure if it means ppff or ppfd. If it was 1000ppf total, i think it would have made a splash already cause thats very good on 300ish watts. OP: get the dets from the manufacturer; if they come back with shady looking stuff then avoid. If this light is all kosher they should have proof backing it up and have no problems showing it. My suspicion is that on questioning we will see some par maps with 1000ppfd as top reading which would prove nothing. But who knows? Contact them. But i dont see how price allows for thesse sspecs

I read spec on info flyer as PPF given in micromole/second. So no area involved.

Do you believe it though? Rb 1000ppf/w at 330w system is 3.0 ppf/w system, which means 3.3ish at board, very high and would need about a couple of hundreds high spec reds like cree or osram. I dont see how that is compatible with the price plus being completely unheard of here where there is an abundance of led nerding. It might be the first we hear about the next greatest. But i don wanna see it better supported to believe it.

TBH, I concentrated on the indoor white and looked at HLG's 300 for reference. Thats advertised with a figure of 700.
I don't know what the R/B figures should look like. Majority of diodes in R/B fixture would be red 660's. So ~ 300w of something osram/cree.

Phillips has product with similar name. And range of spectrum choices.

Here are a couple of Phillips product flyers. Guessing they have close ties with Osram? Geared for glasshouse type production, very high mounting. But you can see the trend with efficiency and output.

Very possibly the DI lights are based on these phillips diodes. Still cant really understand what they mean in the DI datasheet, is the spectrum variable or do you get a certain spectrum and thats it?
DI is looking better with this but should really be able to provide more info if they are top line, if you made a piece of topline gear with fully tested diodes by an outside tester wouldnt youu lead with that documentation? OP, ask DI for more clarification on diodes, bins and independent testing and see what they say. If they say of course here you go and give something believable id try them out but i wouldnt go for full replacement until i actually tried them for real

I think the DI lights are similar to the Phillips in that there is a variety of diode configs to chose from and buy. Fixed spectrum.

Thank you all for the input, I'm completely new to LED lighting so the specs are confusing to me. I'm going to contact the manufacturer asking for the info you asked for and I'll post if they send me back the info.

Just emailed them this, "Hey I'm considering switching to your diode series indoor white. Could you send me any more specs? What diodes are used? Bins? Do y'all have any independent testing? Any par maps? Any more info on ppf ppff ppfd? I would appreciate any and all info you could provide! Thank you!" I'll let you guys know what they reply if they do.

Me: It's just a small room, 9'w x 10'l x 8'h. I got 4 of your 315s in there right now. I have two 4 x 8 tables up on stands in there. I was considering just switching out the 315s for the diodes and using the 315s in another area.

(I also gave them my number.)

He emailed back, still not answering my original basic questions.
DLI:
With 4 of our 315s in there, you have about 275 micromol/m2s.
That works fine for Veg, although 400 micromol/m2s is what we normally advise.
For flowering we always advise a lightlevel of about 800 micromol/m2s.

If you’d replace the 4 x 315’s by 4 x DLI LED’s you go up in lightlevel to about 350 micromol/m2s.
6 LED’s in that room would give you 525 micromol/m2s.
8 LED’s in that room would give you 715 micromol/m2s.
10 LED’s in that room would give you 875 micromol/m2s.
