Never hunted. Would not mind though.

Used to love fishing when I was younger, just don't get the time any more.

I have shot a few fish with a shotgun though.
My great aun'ts farm had several dams with bass in.
In winter the bigger ones come right to the edge of the dam and the float just below the water (like possibly 2cm deep) so you just walk close enough and pop them with a shotgun.
Not really hunting but quick and easy way to get some fish for a braai :)

i am a hunter! i was born and raised a city(detroit)girl. thought hunters were horrible. but my third husband and i were split up for awhile-got back together and we do everything together. he is a hunter-never had a hunter in my life before. well since we do everything together i wanted to go hunting with him-thought that was great to spend time in the woods-quiet-and just being with mother nature. but i did not know to begin with that he hunts alone. and i didn't know first thing about shooting. i practiced and i now can hit the target(not the bulls eye-but i hit the target!) i will shoot a deer if given the chance. we love venison. we live on 46.5 acres of woods and cedar swamp so we just go right out our back door and BAM!!!! hope to get one next season.

Would love to bust an elk, best wild meat that I have ever had, well that and moose.
My Brother in law came up 5 years ago to introduce hisself to our family with my sister.. she told me he was a good guy and I take her word for most things.. the guy shows up with like 10-12 lbs in elk meat for us.. asks if he can use my freezer for the rests (another 20-30 lbs) hell yeah just remember to forget it when you leave..

he did not forget.. but anyone who brings me elk meat is ok to date my sis..

I don't get to hunt but do enjoy wild game . I was in Canada a few months back and ate Bison in a few restaurants. This my friend was so good the way they prepared it. Elk is also very good. Moose different but tasty as well. Not to much I haven't ate as far as wild game.

I can't wait for spring gobbler season, favorite thing to hunt is turkey, so smart and wily at times lol. Not to mention in late season there's a chance you can find morrel mushrooms
