Any "Green Rush" investors out there?

What's up RIU?

I'm just curious if any of you out there are playing with the "Green Rush" penny stocks? (PHOT, TRTC, MDBX, mCIG, FITX, HEMP, etc, etc, etc)

There is definite money to be made if you play your cards right. These stocks frequently swing 10-15% in one direction or the other.

Any gamblers out there? Or any skilled investors?

I'd love to chat about the possibilities. What are your thoughts?

Cheers,

Sweet... I'm waiting out an earnings report that "should" make a tech stock I own jump up so I can sell off for a profit. Then I will have a few thousand to play with.

I know these penny stocks are very risky business, but I can't help but think at least a select few will absolutely blow up when the Federal Gov eventually comes around. Thing is, I'm just getting started with stock trading. I can use any help I can get!

It seems like every day now we get a little smidgeon of hope from the Federal Government, and this is just the beginning.

- Feds let CO and WA proceed as "experiments". (Blatantly ignoring MJ's Schedule I status)

- Feds OK MMJ trials for PTSD (Blatantly ignoring MJ's Schedule I status)

- Even the douchebag Grover Nordquist says he wants tax equality for MMJ dispensaries.

It is happening QUICK. I think if California joins CO and WA in 2016, the Federal Gov will soon follow suit.

Those that oppose are either coming around or dying off.

Interesting times we live in...

The senate in New Hampshire votes today for legalization. It already went through congress.

I think Mentor Capital will be a big player. Every new business that pops up is going to need a source of clean capital, and these are the guys who can make it happen. And it's already past penny stock status.

I cashed out years ago from the stock market. I couldn't stomach what I was seeing any longer. The advent of publicly traded companies will be the downfall of civilization IMO. Once a company goes public, their only concern is profit and growth. More more more. They don't care about people, their employees, the enviornment, etc. Only money. I refuse to participate in that any more.

Not trying to lecture anyone here, but as organic farmers we all share an appreciation for mother nature. Corporate America does not.

Anyone got an opinion on which online broker to use?
I use TD Ameritrade. There's a few others that are a few dollars cheaper per trade. But they all require a $500 deposit. TD Ameritrade does not require any deposit.

Wait, what?

The stock market is a scam. If you make money, get it out as fast as you can. Dad was a broker and he never invested a dime of his own money

That's mostly true. It's not how I'd like to make money, but if it can help me save up enough money for a down payment on a home, I'm willing to grit my teeth and go with it for a bit.

The truth is, there is a lot of money being made as the MJ industry ramps up. I won't lose any sleep over getting my little piece of the pie. You won't find me investing in any oil, chemical, pharmaceutical, etc companies...

Aside from mmj I've only invested in medical tech. No pharma. Playboy a couple times too. That's a big money maker depending who is on the cover or centerfold . First time I invested in playboy was in the 90's when jenny mcarthy was on the cover. Bought at $6 a share and sold 2 weeks later at $11. Then after that it dropped back down. So like I said it depends who is on the cover.
