Another Ohio Grow

Kaya finishes in beginning of Sept to Mid Sept for me, Very early finisher and a vigorous flowerer.

yes i have noticed that she flower's fast, they are swelling up fast, i might have a few done in 2-3 weeks. I wanted to let everything go until Oct. 1st before i even thought about cutting but the kaya is swelling fast. I may still wait till the first Some of my kaya have been flowering siIf i gotnce 2nd week of july and all of them by the 3rd week. If i go until the first it will 12 weeks flowering for some of them. But as long as they are growing ima leave them don't care if it flower's for 14 weeks...lol

Rains coming guy's supposedly sunday and monday. I need it but don't want it...lol
What ever to all the ohio grower's you guy's still around.

well to late this season but i can lay it out and be ready

i'd turn your holes now Fab. Then cover them up so their hid. But add some dolomite and some compost for next year. Plus right now you can see where your sun is going to be in the fall. Your vegetation is grown so you can look around and see if they will be hidden. Just some food for thought.

looks like we have alot of rain headed this way, would it hurt my buds if i covered the plant with some sort of plastic or tarp? I'm doing Nirvanas nl and wr i hear nl molds out alot? Here she is

I have an idea where i'm going to get a big piece of plastic, hook it to my little chicken fence thats beside my plants, cover my plants with it then latch it to the ground on the other side. This should keep rain off my plants at night -=)

pretty, pretty, girl's my man. I wouldn't just throw it on them no. Some might say say to but i wouldn't what if the weight of the water built up and broke limbs. I noticed they are in your yard i seen a canopy tent at the dollar store for like 39.99 10x10. Just a thought. But all i can say is i wouldn't besides the humidity would have to sky rocket inside the bag.

Thanks man! Thats all one girl. Heres the other 2. Yeah their in my yard all my neighbors around me are 420 friendly, old, and very cool. I'm reading alot of bad things about nirvanas nl and mold I may have to get a canopy tent or rig something up to somehow keep them as dry as possible.

They dwarf my NL from nirvana, mine was horrible for a guerrilla grow in the drought we had way to weak of a plant. They were wilted every time i seen them.

Yeah during the insane drought I had to call my neighbor while i was at work and have him water my plants for me lol otherwise i'm sure I would of felt the droughts wrath. Do you think that canopy tent will be good to use during the day or would it fuck up their light?

To all new Mods i would really appreciate the chance to moderate my own thread, pretty please. Thanks

peace ..tristynhawk

No it wouldn't hurt them, your just going to use it when it rains right. Not leave it on till you cut.

Yeah just going to cover them up during a nice rain. I even have some spare wood in my barn I was considering building an enclosure, on the top of it put some fence, over the fence cover with plastic. Or I may be lazy and buy a canopy lol.

Canopy pops up in seconds and comes down just as fast. And is store able for future use. Just remember to weight it down man. In case of heavy winds.

Yeah i'm going to get one. Hopefully I'm not at work during the days it needs up. I was just thinking i could cut parts of the top out and replace it with plastic that way i could cover my plants in the morning before work if i fear for rain.

sorry no pictures right now, but i have had to cut a majority of the kaya, that rain that came through few days really wrecked havoc on them bigger girls. The kaya was a good plant this year, with great yields for a guerrilla grow, super sticky and very dense buds. I woulda of like to of went till mid sept. with most of them but seems like the kaya has little resistance to mold. All the cola's that were beer can size started molding on me with patches of bud rot in them, so i went ahead and cut all the tip on these plants. Lost a few oz's to mold.
The ones that weren't as mature are showing no signs of mold yet, maybe the weather will change and let me take these into mid october. The kaya's average was higher then any plant i have grown in a couple of years, and also earlier then anything i have ever grown maybe.

pics will be up soon......tristynhawk

I guess mold was one of my biggest reasons to stop planting in the ground and

always use 5 gal buckets. Now when the clouds move in I move my girls in, still in the natural light but covered from

all moister. Good luck fighting that mold bro.
