Bush orders NSA to snoop on US agencies

During Bush's presidency, US citizens have come under an unprecedented spying regime. In addition to upping its focus on suspected criminals, the administration permitted a system for wiretapping the phone calls of Average Joes and Janes. The government is also funding specialized computers from companies such as Cray that can search through enormous databases at incredible speed. Ah, if only Stalin could see us now.

If the rightful president has been put into place we wouldn't be in this mess ...
Correcto-mundo. We'd all be driving Tinker-Toy cars and we'd be stuffed into 900 square foot high rise apartments lovingly known to the non-existent Gore administration as "Lock Boxes." :blsmoke:

Man, that is exactly like the KGB. I guess when the global bankers failed to take over the world through the USSR, they went full-force on the U.S. Gore wouldn't have been any better; he's still just a puppet for the globalists, memeber CFR and Council of Foreign Relations, U.N. Fudge Packers Union 706. Doesn't matter what they say; it's what they do that matters. If they are members of these groups, they are evil.

Beats the hell out of being in an illegal war for 25 years causing the deaths of tens of thousand of innocents .... it beats the hell out of taking your shoes off at an airport ...

I can't argue with that ... he did go along with the DNC and the election fraud ... no doubt he's a corporatist ... I just feel they wouldn't have been able to make the gains they have without this illegitimate regime. If we were able to get the true out about the election fraud "we the people" would have been in a better position ... the fact that the corporate media covered up the truth (about a lot of things) ... allowed them to get away with the crimes then and now ...

There are none so enslaved as those who think they are free when they are not.

Know what's funny Grow Rebel? Throughout Bush's two terms, the hard left has tried to destroy him with everythihg they have ... and yet, he continues to destroy them without speaking one word toward them in anger.

Bush Administration's 935 Lies to Iraq War Part 1 of 3

Bush Administration's 935 Lies to Iraq War Part 2 of 3

Bush Administration's 935 Lies to Iraq War Part 3 of 3

The Bush administration led the nation to war on the basis of erroneous information that it methodically propagated and that culminated in military action against Iraq on March 19, 2003. Not surprisingly, the officials with the most opportunities to make speeches, grant media interviews, and otherwise frame the public debate also made the most false statements, according to this first-ever analysis of the entire body of prewar rhetoric.

False Pretenses AKA Lying
President George W. Bush and seven of his administration's top officials, including Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, made at least 935 false statements in the two years following September 11, 2001, about the national security threat posed by Saddam Hussein's Iraq. Nearly five years after the U.S. invasion of Iraq, an exhaustive examination of the record shows that the statements were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses.

Will Bush's illegal wiretapping be made legal?
Senate vote on FISA bill could threaten basic rights

... and let's not forget folks at home that the illegitimate bush regime already admitted to violating FISA laws which is an impeachable offense ...

I'm pretty sure we're fucked GR. If the election is rigged as I suspect it is, we either get Hillary or McCain. Both who cave to special interests, and have no interests in our freedom. They may not be as blatant as Bush, but I'm pretty sure we'll not be getting any of the bush laws repealed, and once we get used to these travesties, they'll just pile on more, more surveillance, less freedoms etc.The days of freedeom have come and gone. The corporations own America and they will make the rules whether we like them or not. Of course there's always insurection, Revolution, etc., but the Americans are way too spoiled to start anything like that. Just go to any large affluent city like San Francisco and watch the people. They are all as happy as pigs in shit. As long as they can have their 1-5 million dollar homes and drive their BMWs and Porsches, life is wonderful, Just aski VI.

Well, believe it or not, Med ... there's a lot in the above quote I agree with.

Here's what's really scary .. The federal government, through their intrusions into the economy, is trying to delay the natural business cycle. We should have been in a recession three to four years ago. Instead, the FED just kept lowering interest rates and people kept buying homes figuring prices would continue to climb. They were using their home equities as ATM machines to buy SUVs, flat-screen TVs, and just in general, depreciating crap. When the housing bubble finally collapsed, the consumers living in Sugar Plum Fairy Land found themselves with mortgages larger than what their home were worth. Because government has replaced individual responsibility in many people's minds, they are not meeting their commitments to repay the loans.

Eventually, we will all have to pay the piper. The longer the wait, and the more the federal government interfers with the free market, the harder the fall will be. Now, here we go again ... a 150 Billion "stimulus" package, topped off with the FED first lowering short-term interest rates last week by 3/4 point ... then doing it again today by another 1/2 point. Where is the 150 billion going to come from for the "stimulus package?" From loans given by China and the Saudis. What will the average American family do with the 600-1200 dollars they recieve? They'll buy products made in China and gasoline refined from oil pumped in Saudia Arabia. The question is ... who wins and who ultimately loses?

Buy gold. Massive inflation, coupled with stagnation, is right around the corner. Its gonna be Jimmy Carter all over again and the only way to cure it under our current economic system is to raise interest rates through the roof. If not, the dollar will continue to depreciate and America will be a lot less competitive in the global economy.

As we point our finger at Bush, Congress, the Senate and the Federal Reserve, we have three fingers pointing back at ourselves.

Americans need to finally say no to the federal government's free cheese. The cheese is the bait ... and we're the suckers. And I mean all of us.

I hear ya med ... when McCain was lying about the surge and the progress I wondered why ... but when he suddenly started winning primaries I knew they were stealing the election for him ... and that's why he played ball ... same with Clinton ... So once again corporations select who they want in office to carry on their agenda ...
... and you are right ... most americans are asleep at the friggin wheel ...

I believe we've been in a recession for quite sometime ... the MSM and the illegitimate bush regime ... along with the corrupted congress is just now admitting to it ...

... you ask were the 15 billion is coming from ... why not ask that same question of the money being dished out for the illegal war?

I agree with you the plan is wacked ... but the sleeping public will continue to spend and go deeper into debt ... if the government can do it why not the people too?
