Bonjour
could you please tell me what kind of driver and the price...
Is it dimmable drivers?
And is it passive or active...I believe it is passive regarding the size of the hs and the mA!
Good grow to you
Have a great day ★
Here is a link to a group of drivers SupraSPL recommend for me at varius amps from 1.5 to .9. single COB drivers. I have a couple of these,->http://www.ebay.com/itm/10W-20W-30W-50W-100W-Waterproof-High-Power-DC-LED-Driver-For-LED-Chip-50-60HZ/151510253101?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=35695&meid=fd63915fa99343f78af83f7f0909d257&pid=100005&rk=3&rkt=6&sd=261889756872 and then there is this dimmable one too. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Waterproof-IP67-50W-High-Power-LED-Driver-Dimmable-DC30-36V-1-5A-with-Dimmer-/371526410188?hash=item5680b31fcc:g:E~YAAOSwRLZUCyof .peace

I'm not quite sure if I've done something foolish but I bought 2 mars hydro reflector 144's. Worst case scenario... Expensive veg lights. Since I started my research into diy led cob builds, I feel this may be a better option for me. I would like to do a 3590 build for a 3x3 tent. Cost doesn't worry me, I only want the best of the best as I'd be more focused on the build lasting 5 years, so it would more than pay for itself. Any ideas on a parts list to build an epic build for my space would be appreciated. Thank you to all for your knowledge. Peace!!

CORRECTION:
Worst case scenario; BROKEN veg lights.

Fortunately, the box, heat sink and drivers may be usable for an epic @Growmau5 upgrade!

The choices available are changing pretty rapidly. I was just thinking this morning that if I had done one more grow with my Mars lights and NOT rushed out and bought a pair of Optic 120's, several months later the $650 I spent on them would have gone much further. And now with things like Cutter's kits, its amazing what you can do. So don't sweat it, now you have the luxury of time to research and figure out what you want, and then you can put those lights on the shelf and keep them as back-ups. Or lend them to a friend who is thinking of growing. Or veg with them. They are not useless.

My main concern is heat, I hate the heat I'm getting from my 600hps. I upgraded my tent to a 1680D material. Struggled with heat ever since and it's winter right now. Can't imagine the problems I would run into as the temps have started to rise. Time to evolve!!

Wow, thank you for the cutter link, just started reading. Awesome info!!

Lots of people have heat issues, but there isn't a single solution. The solution will be heavily impacted by where you live -- heat and humidity do a dance. Some places are cold and dry, some cold and humid, some hot and dry, some hot and humid... you can't deal with them all the same way. I'm no expert, but you'll figure it out. Efficient COBs will definitely help.

If you're not up to the cost or the DIY of COB LED, the next best option is 315W CMH lights. These are still HID, but they're very efficient and have excellent spectrum response. It's not a sucker's bet like MH or old school SE HPS. That stuff is obsolete and should be outlawed.

I'm running half a dozen in one room with a fan in the door for ventilation and they don't overheat the space.

Can I veg and flower with just 3500k cob?
another big yes from me. they performed great on my first flower run, the cherry pie plants vegged under cfl/MH and didnt look even close to what my current run is doing at the flip to 12/12 (and still yielded 1.34lb in 4x4 tent from that). also with the switch to full organics and 1800w of cob's all cxb3590 3500k (only 1200 running in the roughly 9.5'x4' area) i just sit in the grow room and soak it up sometimes :hump: im sure you wouldnt really regret mixing temps, but 3500k alone works great imo.
