i have already gave food twice, and epson salt once early in the grow. you could tell they needed feed, but the second time maybe a little much, as the leaves curled a little bit. they have not been feed in about a week and a half i guess. that first batch of soil, if you want to call it that was shit. i got me two cubic foot of a blend of peet and perlite from a local green house. i like it, i gave a little water when i transplanted saturday and they still have some weight to them. i will not over water this time. the stuff that was using would not hold no water. i had to set the cup in a bowl full of water just to get it to soak some up. i could pour a cup in the top and get a cup out the bottom, about that quick.

well i just had runt tell me he's a boy. three out of 6 females. males are a taller pink, very early. a short bushy pink, slower to mature, and the runt, a special. looks like i'm going to have to breed for some seeds.

yes the 4 sour diesels went in dirt today. still waiting on the 2 hubba bubba bombs, and the 2 8 bombs. i guess i told a lie in a way and in a way not. i used soil, but i'm still in this grow. i got some stuff for the dwc or rdwc which ever way i go, but not enough. starting to get pollen from pink #1, kinda want to wait on pink #2 male before i pregnant pink #3.

collected pollen from pink male two days ago, and murdered him. waiting on the other male before i get the female nugs pregnant. the 4 sour diesels have yet to break ground, and i'm still waiting on the hhb's and the 8 bombs.

I tried to get those HBBs to sprout with no luck either. Their so damn big they just didnt want to break out. Someone mentioned helping them out by grinding them down on the side of a match box or somthing. I had no luck though, i hope you do. :):):)

that's what i'm worried about, and the 8 bombs seem to be doing the same way. if they don't i do still have 8 more sour diesels. i believe if i buy some more beans i'll go fem. looking at some stuff for a hydro system. still trying to decide dwc or rdwc. i like the ideal of the rdwc because all the water runs through the same reservoir, so it would be easy to keep tabs on the ppm. i haven't even looked real hard at the meters yet.

found me a problem this morning. i came up with a humidity gauge, and it says the shed is about 10%. if i understand right it should be around 50% to 55%. not sure how to do this yet. the little electric heater i'm using must suck all the water out of the air.

You don't need it THAT high once you start flowering, around 40-45% will be OK.
Hang a couple wet towels in there in front of your fan until you get a humidifier.

rdwc is nice but more expensive. Unless your a kickass plumber your better off buying a system which will cost you a pretty penny. Also if one of your plants have a root issue or an issue at all theyll all get it, like if a hose comes off and you dont check on it in two days you got nothin left. And as far as meters go theres only one way and one word. Truncheon. Dont think twice, trust me, buy once, not twice, buy a truncheon. Their the most expensive but the warrenty is worth it and you never need to recalibrate them.

a humidifier will work but make sure its not directly on the plants to avoid potential powdery mildew problems. And giggy, its not a must do, thats what is perfect conditions. They grow in all sorts of humidities just fine though.
