i know this doesn't have anything to do with my grow but i am going to do a experiment. i made a run of iso the other night, and this time i put it out on the front porch. it was a deep brite green (second run is always green for me) to let it evap. quicker. went out to check it out yesterday and it was red, redder then any of my first runs. got to checking it out on the web, and it seems people do this to get rid of the green color and to smooth it out. i only use a 30 sec. shake, but my next run i will do 30 sec. on first run, then i'm gonna go a minute or more for the second. i'm gonna put it where the sun can get to it to see what happens. i don't know about you folks but my first runs come out amber, and good. my second runs come out green and sticky. i have never tried to make a third run.
edit - this seems to be something that is known, well i didn't know it, and never saw it while reading up on making iso. not only does it change the color, smooth out the smoke, it makes it more sedative. so no experiment needed, i'll just do this from here on out.

Sounds like you need a bigger light in there to get the temps up and to run the lights during the night as it will help when its the coldest. Ya may be all over that but im just tryin to cover the bases seein if theres any help for ya bro.

i run the lights during the day, so i make sure i don't have light leak problems. the temps stay in the 70's most nights but i have had some in the 60's too. i don't run the fan at night, days i try to keep them around 80º to 85º. this is a temporary setup , but when i do the new shop i won't have to worry about using the box, well maybe to veg. when the weather turns better, i'm going to go take my trusses down so i can get started. when the shop is done i'll have a room to do as i please. i lost my summer grow to mold, so i'm just trying to get some stash. i picked out the molded pieces, then froze everything, and have been making iso with it. right now i have 4- 55 watt t5 cfls 2700k and 2- 23 watt cfls 5000k, so right at this moment i have 266 watts going on very young plants, with more to go. if i could keep better control on the temps, i would have a 400 watt mh lamp in there, but i'm saving them (7) for the room.

Why not flip it and run lights at night like I do?
Edit: Actually right now I'm running 24/0 now, LOL.
A couple weeks ago the plants outgrew the closet, so I'm doing 2 plants one shift, and 3 the other.

Idk giggy, some people are just harder to help than others. If i were there id grab a hammer and some nails, a saw and an extention cord and build you a grow cabinet, rig that bitch up some lights and vents, fans and filters, mix some super soil from suff i hauled back from the hills and walmart and then build a tiny nativity scene with a baby jesus and mary and some angles flyin around and some shepards and shit and theyd all pray for your grow like all the time and then youd never have a problem again cause of the little praying baby jesus. And id only charge you one cup of hot co co for all that so youd be getting a pretty good deal right?

Remember the 2x2 I used last Winter for that twisted bagseed?
Same space this year, but I was thinking kinda goofy, started one bean, couple weeks later 2 more, started thinking "Just my luck all 3 will be male", so in the next 2 weeks I dropped 2 more beans, and.........
Wouldn't ya know it, I got 5 females.
At least I only vegged one for 14 days, and the other 4 are 12/12 from seed, (only reason I did THAT, was I started wondering 'What IF there's more than one girlie, then I'll be screwed for room.).

Go to the USPS website, order some free boxes and patch your corners and holes with them temporarily.
I needed a box and was getting impatient for it, so I made another order, and they both came within a day of each other, so I had plenty of boxes to make a 2x2 cab out of for my light off cycle.

i got another box i could do that with, was going to build a grow box out of it, but decided to wait. it is 24"x28"x60" so it is bigger then the one i built, and is metal. was going to do a led box with it, but ran out of bread, but i have one hell of a exhaust fan for it, but it is 12 volt dc.

hey bro where you been hiding at? haven't seen you in a good while. how did your crop do after the cure? i found some close, well a few miles. not a bad price being i was told 70.00 shipping. i could shop around, but then i have to get a paypal account or a card. this way i get to walk around in the store. i have thought about trying hydro.

Hydro good yes. DWC equals huge plants that grow fast and its really easy to do, but it costs a couple bucks to get started.
