For sure man. Who would turn that down. That would definitely raise some suspicions though. I have grown and a rental before, and there's no way I would tell a landlord what I was doing in there. It's really not his business, and I don't see why they would need to know.

The reason I keep hearing from the landlords is that “ its illegal “ So I explain that in the state of MI it is legal , but then they say that their property could be confiscated , maybe that’s true but I don’t think it happens , But then again maybe it does and I just never heard of it . Also the 1st thing most say is no smoking and drug free , I wonder how they expect to find a renter like that after all its MI

Rental contracts may have "No Illegal drug activities" on premises. It's not illegal, but still I'd rather not mention such things to a prospective LL. landlords are protecting themselves from forfieture by adding into the lease, "tenants shall not have any plants that require additional artificial lighting", or no mmj at house. Still it doesn't mean you'll get evicted if they know what's up, it's just for their protection if the tenant is not compliant w state laws.

I’m to the point now that I’m thinking about buying one of those places in downtown Detroit , the only drawback is that I will have to worry about both the drug dealers and LEO , after seeing that tape where LEO executed that guy in Saginaw I agree with my wife , MI needs to pass a law that every LEO has to smoke a least one joint before they start their shift , at least we would be a little safer . I really would like to find a place in the sticks but I want a partner so that when I’m out and about someone would still be there to guard the grow .

Lol, about popo required to smoke peace pipe before shift. don't think you have to worry about cops in Detroit. use plenty of carbon filters and look for a house that has the electric meter conveniently tucked around the side or back of the house so the hood rats can't see it spin in 5th gear. Also grab a rescue pitbull!!
