I believe I did what most should. Before I challenged a doctor to consider me as a person who would benefit from the use of marijuana (what the law requires), I realized what the doctor was up against. The same Government that I am. With that I came to the conclusion that I was best equipped with the truth about how cannabis effects the body, as is he. I researched my condition thoroughly first. I learned the meanings of medical terms associated with my condition to better understand my particular situation with each disability and disorder. In the medical journals published and available online I learned the processes of each symptom. I learned how the effects of cannabis on my body could intervene with the process of particular symptoms and understood why marijuana was helping me.
Now, I will tell you. When I walk in a room you may never notice a thing wrong with me. However, on a doctors list of things wrong with me, you would be hard pressed to believe that I wouldn’t be helped.
Of that of which I have been diagnosed: Tourette syndrome, Attention deficit disorder, Scoliosis, and Brain Tumors.
I was allowed cannabis mostly due to the muscle spasms related and compounded by the two conditions Scoliosis and Tourettes. I was able to explain how THC becomes attached to receptor cells that are located between fatty tissues. The benefit that I received as a result of my brains involuntary signal to spasm, being slowed by the THC‘s screening of transmissions between receptor cells. The facts cannot be contested. Thus it can not be contested as to weather or not I would benefit from the use of marijuana. My doctor agreed.
