hey mos.. the plant looks burned.. either from heat over over feeding?
I reckon they're suffering from burn and heat stress. I asked him a while back how close his lights were - no answer, he doesn't seem to listen to anyone other than Al B!

Damaged leaves don't heal. Just mind the new growth.

mos is going to have to listen to someone else pretty soon as I'm going back in hospital in a few days and don't know how long I'll be offline.

Your diagnosis is mostly right. mos unfortunately misted during lights on & let his temps get out of control.

mos, what have you done about permanently sorting out your temp probs?

looking very nice, mos. :)

Incidentally, you can correct the orangey HPS lighting in your camera. You should find a setting for incandescent light somewhere in your camera's settings. This should add in a bunch of blue and make your plants look more naturally green, even under HPS.

You can also edit images in Photoshop or equivalent, probably in the colour balance area, where you can correct orangey photos by maxing out the blue and minimising the green and red levels.

ok i took a total of about 8 clones so far because she is so big there were a ton of places to cut im gonna add the pics of the clones so you can coach me through the process im keepin them in a humidity dome. Took the cuts then dropped them into cloning gel and put them in rockwool starter cubes.

Tomorrow i will ad pics of all the clones im hoping to get at least 6 of them but then again i hope they all make it Al check in thanks man

yep, we'll get through it.

I don't use a humidome, but I'm aware that domes are the accepted practise.

If your dome has vents, make sure they are fully open. If there's water dripping down the inside of the dome, humidity is too high. Prop the dome up on some spacers, old phone books or something, just to get about an inch of gap between the dome and the tray. If the area hosting the humidome isn't drafty, the humidity trapped under the propped-up dome will be enough to slow transpiration enough to prevent wilting.

You may find that the dome is only needed for the first 24 hours or so. If you can leave the dome off without anyone looking wilty, leave it off.

I think you know all about the ease of overwatering in rockwool cubes. We'll talk more about that later.

The scent comes from resin. The scent will start to get stronger when there's more bud development as 95% of the resin on a plant will be on the buds.

When wk 6 rolls around, you're going to be asking me how to get rid of the stench. :D

The speed of rooting of the clones has an AWFUL lot to do with the conditions you have in your clonebox. A horticultural heat mat, permanently set for 30C, moves things along much faster than without. The air temp of your clonebox should be running at about 26.5C. I don't overwater. With these conditions, I reliably get strikes in 7 days. Start taking away the optimal conditions for clones and they slow down accordingly. Overwatering can slow things to 3-4 weeks, if not kill the cutting outright.
