jesus christ guys relax just get me through this man my ppm is reading 1120 right now and i want to up it i started flowering today i left the light on until 12 noon and then they are going off at 12pm i still think that northern is a hermie should i wait?

ok if i wanted to bump up the nutes to 1400 im using general hydroponic solution the gro bloom micro how do i add more do i just dump 10ml of each in until i reach 1400ppm on my meter

to get it to 1120 i added 40ml gro 80ml micro and 120ml bloom and that made it 1120 now how do i add more can it be an equal amount what should i do?

this is all mixed in with 10 gal of distilled water Al

before you up your PPM you should look closley at your leaves.. If they are super duper dark green or you have any brown on the tips, you do not want to add nutrients...

if you determine that you can go up in PPM then you should add with the following ratio during flowering...

1 micro: 0 grow: 1 bloom

- this is the ratio of GH nutrients to add during flowering (12/12)


many people also recommend draining the reservoir and refilling using this NEW ratio when you switch LIGHT CYCLES... not always neccesary

mos, just put the nasty little girl on your ignore list until the mods get round to doing the ban and cleaning up the end of the thread.

Leave the northern for a few more days and see if those preflowers still look male or herm. Even if a male/herm, it's got a long way to go before it can pollinate anyone else. Of course, it's probably compost, but let's just wait a few days.

Keep in mind that if you ever use tap water instead of distilled water, the minerals in tap water will cause a slightly higher ppm with the same amt of nutes that gave you 1120 with distilled water.

So it happens, 1400 is exactly 1120 + 25%.

So, if 40ml + 80ml + 120ml in 10 gallons of water gave you 1120, 25% more of each nutrient; 8ml +25% = 10ml, 80ml + 25% = 100ml, 120ml +25% = 150ml, all in 10 gal water should yield 1400- or very close to it.

Don't bump them all up by 10ml- that would stuff up the NPK proportions. Do it by percentages as I calculated above.

OK PIC 1 IS THE BEST FEM WHITE WIDOW SHE IS HUGE AND SHE WAS THE ONE FURTHER FROM THE LIGHTS PIC 2 IS HER GROWTH WHICH LOOKS BETTER THEN THE HURT ONES

PIC 3 IS THE OTHER WIDOW HASNT SHOWED SIGHNS YET BUT STRUGGLING FROM THE MISTING IF IT IS A FEMALE WILL THE BUDS STILL BE OK?

Should be OK. Most of the lower leaves will actually drop in late flowering anyway. It's the newest growth you're concerned about- that's the stuff that will be making your buds. If the new stuff isn't looking spiff, then start looking for problems, but don't sweat a couple of cooked lower leaves.

Great- 1400 is just what we expected for the 25% increase in nutes.

You'll begin to see tiny clusters of calyxes (white hairs) forming at bud sites by end of wk 1. Come the end of wk 2, they'll be about 5-10mm dia. Then it's off to the races. The plant will gain vertical height until about the end of wk 4. After that, it's all bulking up the buds. You can flower for a total of 8 wks but you can add on a wk or two if you can be patient. Adds just a little bit more solidness and density to the buds.

Did you get after pruning the lower growth yet?

How tall are they now? Did you decide whether you had enough vert space with proper clearance from the light to allow for it to be 3x the height it is now?

ok i just tested my nutes again and they were 1370 so i guess thats good i just loaded the 400w hps in cause i forgot to put it in but it was only the start of day 1 Al i will have enouph room but the new gorwth looks good on the huge female widow but they arent so hot on the other 2 with stress they seemed like they stopped growing maybe i still have to give them a couple days ill post some new pics i hope everythin goes ok and i get at least 2 more girls So far theres 2 confirmed females out of 6 and the one is great and the other is stressed we will see

and ever sonce i put the water on a cycle the ph has been doing fine when i didint have it on the cycle my ph was flying up is this normal
