Air pump silence

Hi Im starting my 1st indoor grow, I decided to go DWC seems to be going good for the most part be sides fighting below freezing temps this last week. One thing that is annoying is the sound of the air pump. tried to but something soft under it put it in a box but nothing works.. There maybe a thread to this already I'm new and kinda slow at forums. Any help would be greatly appreciated

There are virtually silent air pumps available for not too much money. The cheaper the pump the noiser it is usually. When I kept aquariums I would wrap my air pump up in wash cloths sitting on a small pillow. This can help but its not great for product longevity. Get a more spendy one.
