Usually males show sex first, so.. since you haven't had any males yet theres a good chance you have some fems =]

Thanks for the help. That info makes me feel a little bit better than i did before. i hope i get females i have done everything to makes my chances higher. I have since trimmed some of the leaves, so it can get more light going through it.. Nothing to serious just like 2 or 3 from each one. thanks again ill keep u posted.

UPDATE: So i was reading through the CFL fourms and something crossed my eyes as i was reading about what lights i should use for flowering. I did not read, nor did i pay any attention to the FINE PRINT where it says use 2700k or 3000k for flowering. I had just went out to the local Target and picked up some Soft white CFL's without reading the Box. I was going for the LUMENS not for Color temp.. WOW no wonder it has taken so long to show the sex of my plants.. Maybe now i can get some Results.. I went out and picked up three 27ook 100w soft white CFL's, putting out 1600 Lumens a peice. So that should give me a total of 4800 Lumens. And adding the 3120 Lumens from the 2 grow bulbs that come with the AEROGARDEN it gives me a grand total of 7920 Lumens.. Is that enough for the 3 plants i have? :hug:

Question about the default grey AG grow-sponges:

Can they be re-used if the initial seed fails?

As well, can the grey sponges be replaced with something else that fits into the AG plastic holder/slots? I've seen pics around here of blackish-looking sponges(peat??), but not sure...

should be fine, if the sponge isnt too torn apart from the roots, you could re use it, you can always order more

heh, i WISH it was torn apart by roots! Them bad boys didn't even sprout good...on the upside, glad I planted lots of seeds, as I've already got 50% casualties!

My plants ripped them things apart like the Hulks pants. But i have a question. When i flower is ok that i leave my Aerogarden lights on as well as the other lights?

I have a little ag grow goin on right now i am about a week and a day in from seedling, i changed res yesterday, but the one that is doing the best its about an inch or 2 tall, the two top leafs look like there trying to split open but they havent . they have been like this for 4 days now?? any suggestions??

Is it OK to turn off the AG and Lights for an hour or so? Will that damage my week-old seedlings too much?

UPDATE: Hey guys and gals! It's been 16 days since i have started my flowering stage and i finally have some results! But from only on ONE plant! ITS A GIRL!!! The others wont show there Sex and its making me upset. This is taking way to long! MAYBE I should get more light? any suggestions? :shock:

Congrats on the lady... give the other one some time... she'll show that fuzzy bush soon enuf.. lol

thats good man, the males usually show first, so you might just have a handful of ladies! :weed:

Sounds great! Day 18 and still no sign. Im thinking about getting some more lighting.. This might be off the subject but since day 1 i never really put any Nutes into the REZ water. If i did it was only half of a small tablet. And i did this maybe a total of 3 times in 2 months. This grow is almost 100% natural with just water and stable PH.
I read on some fourms to put half of a big tablet into the water when flowering. Do u think it will do damage if i decide to use Nutes now? :confused:
