I just got the aerogarden pro 100 and was wondering
1. how much of my flora series nutrients do i need to put in
2. how often do i need to put in the nutes. Also what are the times and settings the light turns off.
(couldnt find the question mark)

What kind of nutes are you using ?

i started on 18/6, but went to 24/0 shortly after and am getting much better growth. you put the nutes in once or twice a week, just so long as the res. is full, and there should be a table on the fox farm site or bottle that tells you how much per gallon.

tomato/pepper is 18/6 i think. that's what i had it on until i went to 24. if you go to aerogrow.com, and click on either faq or customer service, there's a chart there that gives the times for each setting.

im not starting with seeds im getting a couple of 2-3 inch plants.
do you think transplanting them into the aerogarden should be much of a problem.
Im going to replace the foam that came with it with rock wool.
what else should i do

if youre vegging, you should be on 18 or 24, your choice, but 24 is constant growing, which the plants can handle. once you go into flower, switch to 12/12. just browse around this site and you will learn anything and everything you could ever want to know

vegging is growing. your plant is in the "vegatative", or growing stage. once you want to sex and start flowering, you start the "flowering" stage

Vegging: Once the seedling matures but before it begins to bud. This is the vigorous growth stage of the plant where the light cycle is 18hours of light and 6hours of dark (18/6). In this light stage you want your light spectrum to reach approximately 5000Kelvin and 6500Kelvin (blue light).

Flowering: Once the vegging plant begins to show sex (buds or pollen sacs) it is in the flowering stage. You will need to separate male and female plants in order to have seed free buds. During this cycle the plants will have 12hours of light and 12hours of darkness (12/12). Light will need to be within the red/yellow spectrum or 2000 to 3000 Kelvin.
