Advanced nutrients vs fox farm and the rest

Anyone try Blue Mountain Organics? They seem to be an inexpensive way to add some beneficials and humic. I bet the SPT could be added to any other company's regimen replacing some of those pricier items.
I'm going to order some of this stuff and see how it works. My problem is I don't have enough grows under my belt to make any real comparisons.

i purchased a gallon of GH fulvic acid .i let the shop owner sucker me into that purchase of almost 40 dollars.i thought i was getting a deal .hell AN can cost around 35 dollars for a liter of fulvic right?lol.i was wrong
the one bottle of AN is seven times stronger then GH's product.i would have to buy two gallons of GH fulvic.to make up for the one bottle of AN.lets see what i saved by purchasing the GH..it would cost me 80 bucks to do what one liter of AN fulvic would do..what a bargain.

Or instead of spending $30 on AN fulvic that is 8%, you can get just about anyone else's fulvic for like $15 a quart. Such as humboldt nutrients, roots organics, etc.

AN does have some unique products, but their fulvic is not one of them. And it sure isn't worth the extra money when you can get the exact same thing from a different company.

you better not go get the same thing from GH .you will have two have a 55 gallon drum to make up for a gallon of AN.

I am not getting the stuff from GH. I am going to go with either roots organics or humboldt nutrients fulvic.

They are both like $14 a quart, which is way cheaper than AN, plus they have the same % of fulvic acid as the AN stuff does.

hooked on ponics.........why dont you offer us some coupons or something?

This guy is big mike, i guarantee it or your money back...no questions asked
Dude, if I had some coupons I would keep them for myself.

Yeah, I'm Big Mike. And Bigfoot. Oh, and I'm Elvis too.

Whatever.

I know hooked you aren't on here often, but you always reply to this and my other AN thread that I post in.
Simple reason for that, it's on the CP thingie that tells you what threads you've posted on and whether there's something new posted on them.

I always check that first thing when I log in.

I only get 15% of retail...

Just kidding, not really...
That's better than what I get, so I can't help much there.

Regular Avdanced Nutes customer, tried Fox Farm couple of years ago because of the hype, cost, and local availability. Not a bad experience, but fox farm is no comparison to advanced nutrients line.

the AN is wayyy to expensive. i can buy the whole line of fox farm nutes for under 50$.

ive been tempted to get teh AN with all the urban grower footage, hype, results, but that price tag is hefty.

i think a lot of it depends on the grower too.

the whole line of fox farm nutes should be about 120$

grow big-25$ big bloom-25$ tiger bloom-25$
cha ching-25$
beastie bloomz-25$

total-125$

but still way cheaper than advanced nutes where they sell products for like over 75$ a piece

Mr I Can Do That For Half
I get the 3 bottle 1 quart each of Fox Farm for $38 at pretty much every place. Gallos will run about $95 for the 3 grow big, tiger bloom and Big Bloom ...add $68 for the 3 micronute additives of cha ching, opensesame, and beastie bloomz..Fox Farm is great to grow with. Its inexspensive easy to get and very forgiving plus simple to mix. Advance is good but more for advanced growers as its exspensive and harder to mix and control

Fox farms is decent, but for something in the same price range that will give you MUCH better results you should look into Botanicare.

I used FF stuff for a couple of years, and after using the Botanicare Pure Blend Pro and their additives for about 4 grows now, I will never go back to FF. The pH is not stable at all with the FF stuff and the solubles have a bunch of heavy metals in them and cause the buds to not taste as good as they should.

im gonna say pure blend pro.botanicare over fox farm all day... i used to use ff. but its not worth it.... get the whole line of pure blend pro... might not be as good as AV. but its worth what your payin...

what exact line of products do you use from botanicare? i have been using fox farm for 2 years now and have been impressed with the outcome of how the buds swell up and look at the end of the grow but not impressed at all with how they taste and smoke

I use Pure Blend Pro soil. The bloom is all organic unlike the the FF stuff. I was also using their liquid karma, sweet, cal mag, and hydroplex. I had much better results with the botanicare stuff than the ff.

I just switched a lot my nutes this time around to go all organic. I kept around the pure blend pro, but everything else has changed. I switched from sweet to flora nectar and carbo load. The flora nectar is not organic, but its close enough. Then I got rid of the solubles for Roots Organics HP2 and HPK.

Hey folks, new to RIU here. Thanks for all the great info. I've got a related question. Who is using Botanicare specifically in hydro or bubbleponic now? I just built a bubbleponic system and will fire it up this week. I've used Botanicare for the past year or so but I've been growing in soil. How does it work for hydro/bubble? Thanks for the help. RIU has inspired me to grow better buds.kiss-assbongsmilie
