ur still beating me with the damn 5inch tall...LoL... good job man. well i stopped feeding my plants nutes n now the plant that was the smallest in the beginning n got bigger than the other with 2x more nute than the other ones just got a lil behind she slowed down a lil bit n now the others r bigger but with skinnier leafs.
 
they are about 2-2.5 of a inch and 22 days old... LoL :(>.. they where a lil bit bigger 4" but i think i buried them too much on the transplant. they have some minor nute bur but they r healty.

and this are the lights my friend sold me very cheap. 2 150w fixtures n 2 bulbs, the cabinet, and the fan, he sold me everything for like 80 dollars. what do you guys think? its a good deal IMO. :). but im gona gona use the hps cuz the plants im grwoing right now its just stress seeds.

If I am correct you started giving em some nutes around their second or third week. Im around day 12/13 do you think I should wait another week or two before I start giving em some nutes?
 
Can I buy one of your lights for $80?

And your plants may seem a little small but they look really healthy and bushy. Dont get discouraged. Throw those HPS lights on top and keep the CFLs and watch them explode

And Adrian, 1 seedling is about 5in tall, 1 clone is also 5in, the other clone is around 3.5in and the other seedling got stunted at first and is barely an inch tall

LOL forgot to mention that, ya its filled with activated charcoal and I have a piece of screen on the end holding it in.
 
Transplant day!!!
I was freaked got home and my big girl was droopy and saggy. Didn't think it was overwatered, as I was gonna water tomorrow, so I gave her (and the other 2 that looked fine) a drink, grabbed a brew to ponder it, went back 20 min later and she looked good as new.:mrgreen: Anyway here are the transplant pics.:peace::joint:

looking good! Keep up the good work!

Im on my 1st grow as well, mine are 4 days since i planted em. and they are looking good.

Im gonna be keeping up with this thread
 
Today I added 4 more lights, now have a total of 10 6500k 1600lumen 26w CFL'S, which gives me roughly 4400 lumens/sq ft, not too shabby

I think I'm gonna bail at flower with the cfl's or at least 100% cfl. HTG has a 150W HPS setup for $70 that will just make my cab the bomb. I can get 7000 lumens/sq ft with less than 225 watts. I don't see how I can't do this.
 
I was looking at doing a DIY, but for the price with a remote ballast, I'm just gonna go through HTG. By the time I relocate it make it a remote ballast, build a reflector, I'd be into it almost the $70 and still only have half the lumens. I think this thing is a steal, IMHO
