A Well Researched 'Newbies' Grow Tent

Whats up Tricka! Great tutorial you have there! I actually just placed my bean order the other day also and finally got around to doing my transplant lol. Hope all is good!

Hey there guy's just a quick little update:

....well after fiddling around with cables and computers for the last 15mins i have to say i have some bad news.....
The time laspe camera (30fps and 720p HD)is a great idea if you run magnetic ballast's, unfortunatly i have a digital one and the interferance is fucking with the video pick up, its so bad i canned the idea

Good news is that i have also been running my res and pumps getting them ready for the big day (when my seedling come out of the humidity crib and into there new bed)
well i had already done two wash's for the hydraton (expandable clay balls/pellets) and thought that the run off was quite clean, well after this morning i realised that it wasnt, in fact it was dirty as fuck, so i did a full hours running water through the system pH'd at 5.2 and EC was 0.13) I then added 40mls of Hygrozyme to my 35L res after everything was disenfected, i just use a nice cotton sock for now to filter the subby pump.
i have closed off the run off line and now recirculating the res and table with this solution, i will do this for another 15mins and then repeat the process one more time.
the run off was slightly warmer in pH and in temp and EC/PPM

Also i did a test run with bubble cloner and yeah its a mini spa bath in there, fuck loads of big bursting bubbles, the clone's are gonna love it! (to get the photo's to show the bubbles i had to change thye settings on my camera which made a funny textured look appear on the plastic in the background???)

P.s....I backed down and only decided to germinate 2 cali orange x skunk#1 seeds for now, cos i havnt got my mother/veg cab made yet......but they are happily soaking, been ther 17hrs now

great setup you got going tricka! +rep to you. i was also thinking of doing a time lapse on a large scale, maybe for my next grow... taking about 12 pics per day, for the entire grow always from the same spot. just to see what the plant looks like as it grows. always think of it too late lol.

Thats right, LOOKS like both of them that i have started to germ have signs of a lil tail I will leave soaking till tomorrow morning tho.
In the meantime, after cleaning up some old aquarium gear i made the quickest and cheapest bubble cloner for 2, Chinese take away dish, reflective tape air pump and stone's a little connector and some hose.......Bob's your uncle, I will not use this but the idea was there for the taking

No, I actually got this name from the episode of Space Ghost where Tenacious D is on. Zorak says he's getting a spinoff called "Blood Dumpster" and his character is called the Dumpster Keeper.

SD winters come in second only to MN. It's about 17 degrees right now, snow and ice is still EVERYWHERE.

I haven't heard of Dumpster, but after a little research it seems that it's genetics are Northern Lights x G13, so if I bred those two plants I could make my own variety of Dumpster. It may not be the exact same thing as the clone, but it'll be damn close enough. Just like Super Silver Haze x DJ Short Blueberry = Blue Dream (Kinda).

As of today the 24/02/2011 I have put my 2 seeds in pre-soaked 36mm rockwool cubes, the pH was at 5.5ish, they are now in a humidity crib just sitting on the kitchen bench, gets plenny daylight, dont wanna run my lamps just as yet.

In the meantime i knocked up a daily grow log for myself to keep track on what i will be doing...right/wrong lol. It should help me further in growing the best dope i can!

P.s....the day: meaning when i first see it sprout from the rockwool for veg
the day: meaning when i changed over to 12/12 cycle fo flowering

Edit: After reading and then remembering, thanks dope i love it when i remember things, i have seen this before and read two threads on this particular program, i'm sorry to say that im a little sceptical downloading such a program online....i'm not gonna go into reasons as the other threads both turned out to be a shitfight about security and personal opinion and what not, but i for one dont mind my trusty ink and paper methods old school but the same

Dude why jack my thread? you've jacked my mates thread now me, it doesnt take much to stop, say high, introduce yourself like a good forum member and possibly strike up a friendship, throwing shit like that around makes me not wanna look, its too easy to start a new thread, place it in the correct forum, have a snazzy heading and bob's your uncle = answers and friends......this way gets you nowhere
