Man, you are SERIOUSLY jaded. Take a look at the corporate connections the Obama administration has in it's own staff connected to Goldman Sachs! The only people to truly benefit from ANY of the bills being passed through Congress, AND NOT EVEN READ, are the big corporations.
Fox does challenge the mainstream media, and many liberal thought processes, but that's because it should! Few, if any of the other media outlets actually do. That, above all, is the biggest reason why it has more viewers than all the others. A lot of people are sick of the horrible journalism that just swallows whole political ideas without an indepth challenge to them. Based on the amount of viewership, I'd say they're fulfilling that craving. Most of the time, they have somebody on one side of the argument, and somebody on the other there to discuss a topic. Since a lot of Democrats have already decided that Fox is incapable of reporting facts, or being fair to them, many refuse to come on the network at all! Well, they have to fill their time slots with somebody, and if they're too chicken shit to face some tough questions, they don't bother to show up. Don't blame Fox, blame your chicken shit Dems. They have all the opportunities in the world to express their views, they just don't always take them. That's why they favor networks like ABC, CNN, NBC, CBS, etc.- so they can keep getting slow-pitched softball questions, and not have to explain the nuts and bolts of their radical, big government, tax and spend, personally intrusive ideas. I can't stand CNN or MSNBC, but I'm not about to say their reporters/journalists are liars or scum. They just don't do a very good job of questioning ideas. How about applying critical thinking to ANYONE you listen to or read instead of just blatantly shutting people out because they said something you don't agree with?
The Obama/Goldman Sachs Connection- Must Read!
I've been following this connection since "tax cheat" Tim Geithner was chosen by Obama to be his Treasury Secretary, and his economic advisors were all from Goldman Sachs and Citigroup. Recently, Matt Taibbi the chief editor from Rolling Stone magazine published an article called "The American Bubble Machine". In it, he dives in to a very detailed account of the amount of control Goldman Sachs' has in not just our nearly monopolistic government we have today, but the dastardly roles it's played in the past.
Think Obama's "for the little guy"? Read/listen to what's in these links and try and tell me that after! Nothing could be further from the truth. An oligarchy, I believe, is an accurate description of the government we now have, and the way and rate at which control over every thing we do, say, buy, or behave is becoming more and more concentrated into the hands of centralized government. Did you ask for "CHANGE"? Well, you got it. With the new healthcare bill being hurriedly rushed through (like most all of the recent legislation since Obama's been President), we are on the brink of being forced into the most invasive of all the socailist ideas to date. Next up, will be an amnesty bill for 30 million illegals, and insuring the Democratic power base well into the future. After that, hell, maybe even before, will be silencing the opposition. Mainly, "conservative" talk radio. The "fairness doctrine", suprisedly hasn't been reinstated yet, but I firmly believe that it is on its way. All that is required is a stroke of the pen from King Obama. At that point, countering the bought and paid for media outlets like ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN will be nearly impossible. I may not be the oldest, wisest person on the planet, but I'm smart enough, and informed enough, to see the warning signs when they're in front of me. People, it's seriously time to wake the fuck up! If you value the principals of our founding fathers- a small, non-intrusive government, and life, LIBERTY, and the pursuit of happiness, this madness has to end. Once you give up your liberty to the state, chances are, you'll never get it back.

They sent out their spokesholes immediately to try and counteract the facts laid out by Taibbi. If you are going to take the time to read through these links, I recommend you do it in a certain order, so that it all makes more sense. The Taibbi (Rolling Stone) article will give the history of Goldman Sachs involvement over time. The video link/interview with him should be next. It gives him a chance to answer questions from critics and explain in a little more detail how it all comes together. And lastly, there was an EXCELLENT web of connections explained by Glenn Beck today on his program. After you see the connections, self-serving interests, and consolidation of power of the people involved, the burden of proof will be so overwhelming, I doubt anyone could come out still thinking that Obama, or his administration gives a rat's ass about "the little guy".

I'm sorry but if we went back during the witch burning our good buddy Glen Beck would be rushing to burn any witch at the stake. This guy is the most paranoid delusional bit on FOX Noise. I don't like CNN any more, I want to make that clear. I'm amazed that this site has people who like Glen when he definitely doesn't march toward our cause.

It pains GB to accept that marijuana should be legal and it could possibly benefit society. I think he imagines smokers as this sub race of people who don't amount to anything but they're a peaceful race who don't bother me "in my back yard". If they want to smoke the magic dragon and pay taxes on it I'm fine with it. They'll be innocent little houseplants who are non existent to elitist such Mr. GB imho.

He may be right on some select issues, but he misses the point of freedom. Freedom means you do not use the force of government to prevent other people from doing something you might not do yourself. He does not understand the non aggression principle.
Glen Beck is NOT a libertarian despite his claims. He does not understand libertarianism and never will. His use of libertarian to describe himself is an attempt to pick up viewers. He is a douchebag.

I do believe that weed was first vilified in the Southwest US as a tool to control the illegal Mexican immigration, which has always been a problem and is nothing new. However, it may have started there, but it is being used now by BIG PHARMA to keep it out of your backyard. They would rather sell you Zanex than let you roll an organically grown plant for almost NO COST, and NO MIDDLEMAN. Our govt. is wholly corrupt and simply takes the highest bidder, I mean "donor"
