Does Glenn Beck believe we have the right to our own bodies? Where is he on Marijuana Prohibition? Anybody?

he's a douchebag on that issue as well. just check out his lies, misinformation, hyperbole and that little smirk that needs to be smacked off.

I think he is entitled to his opinion. I don't agree with everything he said, but he wasn't exactly wrong either.
Economically speaking, it is a farce for cali. to use this standard to legalize weed (although I am all for legalization). Cali need only drill their oil deposits which are just sitting there if they want revenue...about a 1000% more revenue, plus all the jobs (high paying) that comes with oil. So that part on the behalf of cali is disingenuous.

The other dude sure missed an opportunity from which I have spoken many times. the way to bring weed online is to hit the health concerns of unknown growers selling to unknown customers. Do you really know what the grower put into those buds? How safe is it really? Even your own grow can carry who knows what on it. it's not like everyone has a lab and puts their weed under a microscope to check for pathogens.....right?

People (non smoking) need to be made aware that yes prohibition has not worked and it is very accessible, but worse, your kids may be at risk by the unknown grower. Better to bring it in house and let the FDA regulate it as a food item. Let the AG big farmer sector grow everyone's weed.....safely.....professionally.

That guy missed an opportunity on nationwide TV.

To enforce some beliefs, Glenn Beck is a huge deuchebag. A hot air puffing deuche. The right move was made when he landed at Fox, now I don't have to even see his moldy head spewing right wing hate.

I'd take that into consideration, but the sources (you) just aren't credible enough to have informed opinions (informed) about a TV personality being a DB....

That my enigmatic friend is "your opinion". I won't bore you with my opinion of you, but it goes right along with my opinion of Beck.

You have yet to ever back up your opinion based on reality. So far.... I haven't given up hope for you yet though..

no. he is a fucking liar. "it destroys your lungs", he compares it directly to heroin, he says he never did it, then says he did it one and that it was stupid of him. then he claims he's open for debating legalization as long as you do so on the presupposition that marijuana is evil and deadly. nice.

i agree that people exaggerate the economic benefits of legalization, but that does not justify his position. his whole game is to create hyperbole and argue against. 'everyone who wants marijuana decriminalized are a bunch of selfish stoners who walk around with ounces of weed while smoking joints and blowing their smoke in cops' faces while destroying their lungs with this deadly poison.'

then of course the smirking and attempt to discredit his opponent ad hominem by implying that he's a pothead. yes because if you've smoked pot before apparently you are a junkie and discredited-by-default from debating the issue. at the least you would be labeled as a joke and only worthy of being laughed at and not taken seriously. 'hahaha look at the silly pothead. '

never does he want to debate the idea that maybe someone who gets caught with a fucking gram doesnt deserve to be sent to jail and convicted as a criminal. that would make a sensible discussion, GOD FORBID that would ever happen on fox.

he's a douchebag.

He didn't compare smoking weed to heroin. What was not directly made clear is the guy on the right wants ALL drugs legalized (I sure don't).

Look if we are not honest about weed, no one else will take us seriously. Weed is bad for your lungs....period. Smoke of ANY kind, wood, cloves, tobacco, weed, peppermint leaves, tea,...it's BAD for your lungs. Is it worse than tobacco? Maybe, maybe not, but they both must be pretty close to each other. That guy on the right saying weed doesn't contribute to lung cancer is going to get the AMA to come out and say... he's high, and wrong. Egg on face for all of us.
The more you argue against common sense, the nuttier you look, except if you're the President (zing).

The little goofy things Beck's show does is just trimmings and he does it to EVERYBODY. It's a news SHOW. The guy on the right didn't get into a panty twist over it, why should you?? It's understood.

Beck's guest was probably very glad to get the airtime. I just wish he was more effective...

But that's what you don't understand. Beck doesn't allow his guests to be effective. He straw mans then, smirks away their ideas, and insults them. It's wholly disrespectful. He treats people like shit.

yes he does. he directly parallels them in the opening and regards them with the same severity.

i don't care if he also supports clubbing baby seals for sport. its irrelevant to the debate.

weed can be vaporized and cooked/ingested, so the statement that 'weed destroys your lungs' is patently false and deliberately misleading. and not to debate at the man, but i cant believe you would have the nerve to perpetuate that fallacy on a marijuana cultivation forum.

That may be true, I've never watched him. I was only commenting on what I saw in this clip. The guest didn't present himself too well. Too passive for my tastes. I would have been in Beck's face.

Regardless of what you think of glen, he put the issue out there to a large audience and he gave the guy his say.

I only wish programs like this could devote more than 4 minutes to debating issue

He didn't make his case...that's all.
correction: he wasnt allowed to make his case. one should not have to raise their voice, point their finger, act hostile, and make their opponent submit into silence in order to present a case. that is not a debate.

I agree with that one. There is no true debate anymore. It's all scripted. Heck, Obama has already scripted the press.... so sad.

Untrue, that guy had plenty of opportunities to state his case. There were two completely different energy levels there and it showed.

'energy' and being 'in their face' are not relevant factors in a legitimate and respectful discussion/debate.
