All the really cool kids are Libertarian these days.

He might really believe he's Libertarian minded too, but Libertarians do not support the United States being the world police. If he's hating on the FED Glen Beck is getting there...maybe I'll tune in and see if he's coming around on anything else. I don't usually watch the "news" for anything more than entertainment so this oughta be interesting.

All these hard right wingers flocking to the Libertarian party is really just a waste of time. Come election time, all these Glenn Beck type Libertarians out of fear voting Libertarian will hand the election to Democrats will still vote Republican.

What happened to the glen beck groupies? He's talking about corruption, and the pre-9/11 ignorance creeping back in. Don't let your guard down Americans. Terrorists still want blood, and Obama is soft on terror.

You can't really be that lost can you ????

Privacy Invasions. USAPA II dramatically widens the powers of government to invade the privacy of Americans and others living here. This includes:
  • Broad new authority to compel information from ISPs, friends, relatives, businesses and others, all without informing you.
  • Immunity for businesses that voluntarily turn over your information to law enforcement.
  • Extra punishment for use of cryptography-- no connection to terrorism needed.
  • Instant police access to your credit reports upon certification that they are sought "in connection with their duties" -- again, with no connection to terrorism needed.
  • Relaxed requirement of specificity for warrants for multi-use devices like PDAs and computers with telephonic capabilities.
  • DNA collected from all terrorism suspects/DNA database information open to all law enforcement.
  • Less judicial oversight of surveillance.
hmmmm you said law abiding citizen...Does weed growing count? If weed growing count would that make you or me a law abiding citizen..Damn that means they could bust us all just by using the Patriot Act..Dude you don't mine none of these things metioned here???

oh yea, i dont think any laws for the past 50 years are ok,(well...) we have thousands of lawyers, all making laws, some good some bad, most not needed, there are way too many laws, stupid shit that happens all day every day, i would love to talk about specific laws that are plain silly, but let me tell you, my generation, like the computer age generation, when we are in charge things will change, even if i(we) cant stand beck, or most older people that are set in their ways, my generation is smarter, smart enough not to be racists, or think one way because thats what our daddy said, and by the way, i dont know why genn becks anger has anything to do with any ones life, if i turn on his show right now he will be complaining about something totally different than what he was complaining about one month ago, and on and on, you know?

No, weed doesn't count.

If your aren't futzing around trying to weaken national security..... there is nothing to worry about.

If you are futzing around...you deserve to be caught.

You want to live like it's 1946? It's not.... We have to use the networks the terrorists use. It's pretty simple.....unless you don't mind terrorism.

I think you missed my point totally... Who detemine whos a law abiding citizen.... when you start to invade privacy you are going against what it means to live in America..I should not worry about someone checking why I'm buying fertilizer and then see that I grow then I'm in trouble..I should not have to worry about my phone being listen to because I have friends in Yamen .....I should not have to worry about me taking trips to the Middle East to see friends and family and then being looked at because I do so ......Gezz WHATS WRONG WITH YOU ...........never mind you just believe and do and say whatever you want shit its the internet....

Who determines who's a law abiding citizen at any time?

CrackerJax, this time you truly dissapoint me bro.

I thought you'd be on the right side of this issue for sure...

Even if you have done nothing wrong, you would be absolutely OK with the government listening in on your phone calls, reading your emails, tracking your car with gps?

I would honestly rather deal with terrorism myself than have the US government spy on me. That goes against every single thing it means to me to be an American.

It doesn't matter if you're a law abiding citizen or not, domestic spying should be illegal under ALL circumstances.
