IRON- stoked your doing well with LED and understand completely everything youve said. your plant looks great for only 2 1/2 weeks hope it continues. LED just to me for price and results isnt ready to be compared to HPS. they are great for ppl in your exact situation and they will only get better.

It's all good bro, last thing I want to do it is ruin your thread. I was just saying because I don't like it when people give bad advise.
Sucks you had bad luck with your LED's.But I don't think anyone would want to buy your LED's since they don't work for MJ.
Good luck with your grow and I'm glad that your happy with your new HPS light. I wish It could of worked for me since I spent the money on it. :bigjoint:

That means alot, especially when plants dont see lumens. and I paid 349.00

I got 2 600w hps that sit on the floor collecting dust, well they would if I didn't have an air purifier in my room...LoL

Well right on man with a 600 watt HPS you should be able to recoup the cost of all 3 of your lights with just one crop no problem with all the money you'll save from buying weed. The heat is an issue with the larger lamps but it can be contained sounds like you got all that taken care of with fans. I would recommend just using the LEDs when the plants break the soil I see no reason to run them while the plant is in the dirt 2 of them especially. Than use the LEDs for a few weeks until your plants really need 600 watts of electricity. Get some more plants or clones or whatever and try to really use the space as much as possible. That light will cover a good sq meter need to waste any of it :mrgreen:

Link didn't work and it also depends when he wrote about it. A year ago LED's weren't shit but now there worth checking out. If you don't believe me check out my album. I guess you didn't look at the picture I put up on this thread neither. LED is just another alternative that have a lot of benefit for some people not all. Obviously your not one of them.
Like axjnkee said plants don't see lumens. Plant go off of spectrum like I stated before.

You LED guys can post all the pics you want but none of your pics can match pics of plants grown under HPS... And they guy who says he is using LEDs over his two 600's... just look at his buds and you will know not to trust his knowledge or experience

LOL you cant start a thread will LED without the LED haters coming in, i think they are more obsessed with them then the people that use them. I just got my second 126w LED today, 400w hps is still sitting in the garage. Why is it a contest? Get over it.
Good luck with your grow, you will get great results with your new set-up. Atleast you have some nice vegging ufos.

lol, that is very true. I'm not obsessed with them I just don't like it when people start bashing on LED's when they never used it. They always go off of what they heard or read about about on outdated info. I've gotten way better results with led's then with HPS. are you also using the hydrogrowled?

Really? I cant post pics of plants grown under LED that cant match with HPS? I bet I could. But I'm not going to here since this is looking like a LED vs HPS again. Which was not my intentions, just trying to stop the myths about LEDs not being able to grow some quality buds.
Sorry littlegrower2004, I just don't want misinformation being passed around.

Okay, since your so closed minded theres really aint no more point in saying anything else. Looks like you like to talk out of your ass more then anything. You go ahead and keep using your HPS, spend more money on electricity and fans and everything else to keep temps down. I'll stick with my little LED while I use half the electricity and not worry about heat issues or burning down my house. While still getting great results.

That actually doesnt look to bad. The reason it sags is because the buds are to heavy for the steam which is what happens when you don't let it veg long enough to grow thicker branches. And no my plant does not look like that.

well i guess everyone missed the 2nd page where i said to end the LED vs HPS BS. im glad all of you guys are interested in this but its getting alittle much. i was gone for a day and now i got two fresh pages of argueing. ive switched from LED to HPS so everyone please understand that there is no more use in discussing the value of LED lights(in this thread atleast) i have like 4 past threads that you guys are all more then welcome to bring all this LED shit up but please try and keep it out of this one.

for everyone that has stopped by- thanks and hope you all stick around for this and you werent just here to support or trash LED
