This piece is coming to me in the mail. Its a gridded inline with 8 diffusion holes. But could somone tell me what inline and gridded mean? Im guessing inline has something to do with the way the air and resivoir work and gridded has something to do with the diffusion??? Need some clairification.

from what i understand "inline" refers to direction. the bowl is "inline" with the mouthpiece. or this section is "inline" with that section. i was told this when i was taught how to build bridges. you build a bridge from point A (usually the mouthpiece) to point B (commonly the bowl top). these 2 points stay "inline" while you heat, work, move and shape everything in between. i could be way off.

gridded sounds like a sales pitch. the pics are too small to see. it could be a type of diffuser. i have seen some "disc diffusers" recently.

Ive acctually saw some threads that discussed gridded pipes but I couldn't quite gather a clear idea of what they were talking about. I looked it up, couldnt find shit. Heres the page that has larger pictures of my pipe. Its the first one listed.http://puffnpassglass.com/SOLD.html
