I am also VERY impressed with that piece. Not so much it's physical shape (cause I really don't like that part of it) but how busy, colorful, and layered the colors and paterns are. I appreciate it for the amount of time I imagine was put into the one piece... kinda like a custom paint job on a car that has lots of detailing that was done by hand.
I do really like that piece.

So from my point of view; he's done it before, he can do it again. Maybe he just needed a little motivation to get the urge to try again.

Sorry, didnt mean to insult your creative idea of creating a bong...and as far as pricing goes....you boast about buying his pieces....but would you buy his piece for $400 bucks? He would have to charge something like that for a bong....and Yes I did see the bong he made....what an unfortunate ending...but my point is still the same.Sure. Let the artist be the artist. He has stated many times, and in the beginning of this thread he needs to work out his own ideas before taking in the clusterfuck of ideas coming from the masses
Dont take it as a personal attack man...it just seems every page someone says "fdd you should totally make bongs man!!!!" but no one really knows what it takes to make....and they 99% of the time arent ready to spend the $$$ for a good bong. Dont expect a $100 bong from FDD, his bongs would be worth much more, it takes effort and time.
Bah, whatever, I dont need to defend FDD, keep up his ass, im sure hell produce you a bong at request any day

And since we don't know one another, I'll inform you with a little bit of information about myself. I like to collect different things that are rare, one-offs, or limited production. I like to do that. It's fun. All it requires for me to buy it is for me to actually like the piece.
Furthermore, this is a growing site, correct? Well, SOME of us grow. I'm one of them.
I also collect a retirement check, and hold a second job in addition to my 4,200W grow. I'm no stranger to spending money, nor do I believe Faded will charge anything unreasonable if he actually intends for the piece to be sold. BTW, depending on the piece, anything under $2,000 wouldn't be unreasonable, nor would it even dent the bank. But that's just me. It's all art. He can charge whatever the hell he feels. My apologies Fade for this minor distraction on your thread.

wish there was a way to rubberize glass spoons and pipes with like a clear coat of rubber or the same stuff they make clear tubing out of

like couldnt you just melt clear rubber tubing and dip your pieces in it
sounds crazy but if somone could develop and easy to use clear rubber coating that would help prevent breakage by a great degree it would be money

for now im gonna tie my next glass pipe to my hand cuz i am a bumbling fool with no carpets
