Hi this is my first time growing a plant, and now it's on its 7th week of flowernig, and I know it's not the best, there are some brown leaves and I feel like its too dry, I had some problems with bugs and I started using a mix of chile and garlic to take them off. I'm wondering if someone could give me some tips to avoid this in the future. Thanks.

Use neem oil to kill pest on your plants. Buy the pre- mixed bottle so all you have to do is spray it on the plants. Can use it up to 2-3 weeks before harvest. Not some concoction someone told you would work. unless you know them personally and they tried it before and it worked( not something they heard from someone else or internet)

I agree with @Benawhil neem oil is phenomenal15905212812534737802639747325225.jpg
If you're trying to Omit pests best thing to do is grow inside and in a controlled environment like a tent or closet. What kind of medium are you using? Sometimes when you use cheep mediums they usually give you more headaches than help. Cheers! -G.I.JOSE

@Benawhil @G.I.JOSE thanks, I will try it in the next plant. I have my plants in a little patio I have in my house, I didnt think bugs would get into my plants but obviously I was wrong, maybe I will save some money to buy one of those tents. Thanks you for the remarks.
And about the brown leaves I have, is that a signal of underwatering? or something like that? Or is it a consequence of having bugs?

Could be under watering. Could be some type of nutrient deficiency. Could be the result of spraying that concoction on her. What kind of nutrients are you using? How often have you feed her? What kind of medium are you using?

Bro as far as a tent.. I'm a cheap bastard. LOL so I went to the Hydro shop and took a couple of pictures of the framework for a grow tent. Went to a hardware store bought some PVC pipe and a tarp from Walmart and created my own. The tarp was 40 bucks and the PVC was ten bucks. You can't beat a $60 grow tent that is 7x4x7..lol good luck! Cheers! 15905378876431973364012854083230.jpg

That plant more than likely won’t improve much , you are missing all fans and remaining are getting necrotic.
Plant appears stressed and spraying it with even more chem would probably not be recommended.
Sometimes plants will give up on proper flowering no matter what you do.

IMO simple bloom nute and water , see if flowers progress , if not , then it’s a done deal.

He asked for tips for future grows. I agree, it definitely does not need any more bug treatment.

@G.I.JOSE hmm well form what you said it's probably a mix of those things. I bought some nutrients that are ball shaped and are supposed to be a mix of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. I gave her some of these balls once every 10-15 days before flowering. And watered my plant whenever the ground felt dry, each 2-3 days.

That sounds like time release fertilizer.. Don't use time-release fertilizer on your plants. You won't be able to regulate the amount of nitrogen build up in the root system. That could be a contributing factor on your brown leaves. Just starting out growing, I would recommend investing in something that's more easier for you to use. I'm retired military, and living on a budget so I can understand if price is an issue. If anything I would recommend using Advanced Nutrients Sensi grow A&B and when you send your plants to flower use Advanced Nutrients Sensi A&B. These four bottles of nutrients you can find on Amazon pretty cheap(link below). The nutrients are pH perfect which means you should not have to use ph up or down. With both sets of these products you can complete a grow with ease and guidance from us here. Once you're comfortable mixing your nutrients, you can continue on with the advance line using their other products to get beef year nugs. I recommend just keeping it simple until you can Master a successful grow. Hit me up if you have any questions or concerns, I'd be happy to help! Cheers! –GIJOSE
