oh, forgot to mention. got some yeast and sugar today and mixed up my first batch of yeast and sugarwater for Co2 for my veg cab. i think my flower room is getting a fair amount but the veg cab is kinda closed off in a small room and i think the plants are using up most of the available Co2 because they are gorwing really slow and i feel like that might be the reason.

so will see if it is. ill know in just a couple days if the growth rate picks up.

which light cycle do the peppers and tomatoes like? and the basil and oregeno? i would ideally like to have them in my flower cab.

im going to make a trellis for the morning glories to climb in my flower cab. hope it works well.

They can do a 12/12 no prob, Im growing them outdoors right now and i only have like 10 hours of light here :)

This journal just went from growing to brewing.

Well if it works or not take the mash from your sugar, water, yeast when it’s done fermenting and still it out. It will make good hooch, moonshine that is.

I make wine and in my opinion you would need a lot of buckets of mash in there fermenting to make any kind of a big difference.

just used fleshmans baking yeast and about 1 cup of sugar in about 1/2 a gal of warm water.

I am already aware that this does not produce bucketloads of Co2 but anything is better than nothing and i believe they are Co2 starved up there. i was going to just open a window a crack but the dam thing was frozen shut so i resorted to the next best thing i could afford and do.

eventually i will have Co2 generator up there or bottled Co2 but that shit costs some $$ i dont really have so for now yeast and sugar are going to have to do the trick.

200$ is expensive imo
and i said that all nonchalant, lol, yeah 200 hun is expensive but its a major upgrade. for the results it will provide its a small price to pay.

haha but besides that im just saying it doesnt have to be a top notch bottled co2 system, it can be simplified to 200 bucks and still provide top notch results, just a little more leg work in calculating it out will go into it.

well went up to my friends house who just got his card and set him up with a clone under 104w of CFL 3x 26w 2700k and 1x 26w 6500k, i know could use a little more blue in there but the 4 lights should work out well for him for now. hoping to do a 1 plant monster scrog for him, already have a screen for him and a 10gal tote with some nice amended soil that has been "baking" for about 2 weeks now. should be ready to transplant in about a week. going to have to have him pick up a small fan for inside the cab. ill get some

heres a shitty pic from my phone. dosent look like much right now but i already told him to expect to veg this lil guy for around 10 weeks. going to try and pull 6-8 oz off one plant in this cab or more using CFL. I will be covering his grow in my thread from now on as well. this is kinda a side project for me. I figure its a good deal, i get to test the limits of a DIY dreser cab with CFL and he gets some good quality medicine when im done.

i think im going to have him pick up a throw away turkey pan and use it as a DIY reflector. either that or i have some scrap sheet metal from some furnace ducting lying around i can make a small reflector for him. I will also obviously add more lights to the grow as it progresses but more than 104w right now is a bit overkill.

well my DIY Co2 seems to be working, all my seedlings, clones and my one reveg (which almost stopped growing) are all showing a significant improvement. So though it may not be the most efficient system it is helping i believe.

taking some today m8.

just scoped my triches and they are still cloudy/clear on both girls so going to give it another week. I am also still seeing significant "fattening" on the fruity chronic juice. the blue cheese is a terrible pheno and im not sure if im going to keep it running as much as i hate to do it the buds just are not filling out and its getting close to time. I do have one clone right now that im not going to chuck but im going to try a ScROG with it and see if i do it ScROG style if the buds ripen better than just letting it grow normally.

anyways, ill be taking some pics later today as i have some work to do in the garden.

and some random pics of seedlings and cloner, see the new rockwool holders i made. they work well and theres 24 slots so an old calander works well to keep them labeled, i numbered the holders 1-24 and just mark on a calander page what is in which spot.

not sure man, my last outdoor grow got jacked so i might just keep things inside for the summer.

but only time will tell its hard to resist that unlimited space you have growing outside :)
I love the outdoors, I love growing indoors as well just nothing beats outdoor size and yield.

yeah i like outdoor growing too but not as much as i do indoor. the quality is much better i think and theres the lack of bugs and added security. but like i said its hard to beat the unlimited space and free light that a outdoor grow has.

Holy SHIT MATT!!! I just fell in love with fruity chronic lol look at that awesome looking plant damn and I'll be cheating on my wife with that bitch in few months lol, my mouth is watering and shit just from looking at it YummY!!!!! :weed:

I like your co2 dispenser hooked up to the pc fans good idea ;) But would it be better to install those pc fans somewhere more higher? bcuz as wee know co2 is heavy and it wont rise like hot air it will drop to the bottom, so maybe if you install those fans somewhere higher the co2 would fall down on the plants. Just an idea ;)

Damn and look at that KK she picked up al right, ww x looks great! :weed:
