about to make a purchase in a few .... My hps bulb blew out so I'm about to grab another off ebay.
I know everyone is gonna suggest the hortilux to me but my pockets are a bit too tight right now.
So should i grab a sunmaster ( found one listed for 50 bucks that's looking like the one)
or should i just grab a less expensive version like a plantmax, growbright, or sunleaves.
I have Jorge's bible on lighting and the Sunmaster rates up there. any opinions or experience otherwise?????

the sunmaster dual spec 600w's are a fantastic choice, i used one for my first 9months of growing now im trying a new unbranded lamp from my local hydro shop (free sample) its not as good as the sunmaster but its ok. it was 25% cheaper than the sunmaster . Once my current grow is over i WILL be switching back.

as already stated, plantmax is still a decent bulb, if you can afford the sunmaster go with it. agrosun makes a decent bulb also.

According to last month's High times, sun pulse's kelvin rated bulbs are the only bulbs compatible with electronic/digital ballasts. They say all other bulbs burn out prematurely, some don't last half as long as they should. I have always used the sunmaster bulbs with great results though. Just thought I'd add something else to consider.
