6 inch plant flowering

So I have a 6 inch Kryptonite plant that's flowering. The plant is under 24 hours of light, but perhaps maybe a little far from the light. Could it not be getting enough light? Or is this what Autos do. I have never dealt with Autos, but I figured the flowering wouldn't start this early. And then the question is, will it stop growing taller and flower with a finished height of 6-12 inches?

How many days since germination? I've had one or two autos that started flowering while they were still small but most have been pretty good size wise. I'd hope for a decent stretch and just try to keep it healthy. Hope it triples in stretch for you.
This was a blurple grow a few years back that stayed under 18". Good smoke for what it was but not much yield under the outdated lights.IMG_20210611_133456840.jpg

It's under a bestva pro2000w. It has a knob and I used my light meter, kept it on the low side.
Every other plant is doing well. I'd say they're a few weeks old, as small seedlings they were stunted due to my smaller LED, I think they were too close to the light. But I see no reason it should be flowering. I just don't know autos, I thought they grew a few feet tall and then flowered automatically?

Does anyone think its possible it will grow out of this?

The white stuff is from being watered. Nothing else, dried nutrients/water mix.

There are little branches coming in but the thing is less than 6 inches tall. Its still in what I would call the seeding stage.

Also, I dropped the light another foot... no more carabiners so I guess that's it..

If in the next week or so it doesn’t get bigger I’d can it. Waste of resources to wind up with a dry quarter zip. Just my take on it.
Which seed bank is it from?

Get some mylar or foil for your walls, it'll help spread the light alot.

Pacific Seed Bank. It's also the strain I purchased from them, out of 40+ that I was most excited about. I got 4 more seeds...

The Hawgsbreath and Trinity turned out great from last harvest, so far I'm still convinced their strains are legit. I'll see though, plenty more updating to come. The Cat Piss and Master OG are both from PSB and are right next to the Kryptonite and doing fine. I contacted them and they don't want to send more seeds, just a coupon... which is lame...

It’s possible that it’s just a runt. Doesn’t necessarily have the be the breeder, nor the growers fault. We both know which way they’ll lean though.

I had a Jean Guy runt in my last grow. It just grew about 18 inches tall, stayed that height but didn't start flowering until i switched the cycle. It didn't keep growing buds like the others, just grew some that didn't ripen so I yanked it. The little buds actually smell like killer menthol smoke... too scared to try it ...but back to the Kryptonite... something is wrong. That's for sure. I've never seen that. Probably yank it.

I'm excited to see how the Cat Piss and Master OG turn out. I know exactly what Master Og looks/smells like and I don't think it will be too difficult to tell if the cat piss is legit. WIll continue to update...

I think it's because of the small pots. What size are those pots?
For my first grow i had one auto in a 4 gallon pot, others in 1 gallon pots (in soil). The plant in 4 gallon pot grew nice and big, but the ones in 1 gallon pots were small and started flowering after 2 weeks. They were all treated the same. I think autos start preflowering when the root hits the bottom of the pot from what i've heard. I've seen people growing big autos in small pots but they used coco, not soil. Personally i will never go with anything less than 3 gallon pots anymore.

Interesting information. I've never had this problem and I still consider them large seedlings - I feel like I could have left them in the 3 x 3 inch cube large seedling containers. I usually let them grow in these pots until they are 12 inches or so tall, then to four gallon pots. I guess we'll see...

Last year and the year before I started autos inside the 1st of June to be put outside hopefully around the middle of June but both years weather made me wait with them in 3" square pots until around the 7 - 10th of July. No bigger than years and well into flowering. Ended up with 32" plants that gave me 6oz of trimmed and cured buds each. Didn't weigh the sugar trim but there was lots of that too.

Fall of 2021. The two in front with fan leaves stripped as they got chopped the next day.

Last summer's girls. Not as big but that is because there's a new hemp farm 6 miles away and they all got pollinated fairly well. :( No more outdoor for me and not even flowering indoors as it will get in the house too. FACK!

5 in this crop. All and last year's are Mazarilla Auto by Urban Legends. GG#4 auto X Mazar auto.

Give yours lots of light but I recommend you go to 20/4 or even 18/6 so the plants get some rest as tehy seem to do best with some dark period. Don't go nuts with the nutes as autos don't seem to like to be pushed. Outside it's all half ProMix HP and the rest top soil, manures, compost we make and various organic inputs. I expected to be growing 3 or 4 years without needing to add a thing but water.

Talk about going nuts. :D

Good luck!
