Will this affect yield or just give me positives or negatives
For a couple of reasons reason one would be electric costs and the other would be to control mites late in flowering and also to keep the temperature downwhy are you considering this?
well with less light photosynthesis will of-course slow down thus resulting in potentially lower yields. i don't think 6 on 18 off would hurt them but it certainly won't help in my opinion. better to stick to the tried and true. For a couple of reasons reason one would be electric costs and the other would be to control mites late in flowering and also to keep the temperature down
I don't have any answers for you but I suggest following along with this journal:Will this affect yield or just give me positives or negatives
i hear you but i disagree I appreciate people that try new things. There are studies out there that prove anything over 6 hrs is a waste. although I’ve never tried i would definitely like to see someone follow this all the way through. Someone else on here went for it and left the male in for to long and planted the seeds on his females but still why not try?dude r u for real not even nubies would consider that type of light trick I'm with the other guy stick with the ancient ways man.
I agree. try everything. Learn and Grow. :c)i hear you but i disagree I appreciate people that try new things. yea man it makes us better growersI agree. try everything. Learn and Grow. :c)
Where are these studies that show anything over 6 hours is a waste? I've read up on this over the years and all I've found are weed magazine/forums and a few things mentioning that some farmers have done this, but how they do it to fields of plants I have yet to figure out. If 6 hours of light was beneficial then why would 12/12 be the standard? People are not so idiotic that they would willing spend and exert more energy than necessary to produce anything. If 6 hours of lightning was all pot plants needed to yield at 100% efficiency, then we all would be flowering out with just 6 hours and would have been doing so for a very long time now.i hear you but i disagree I appreciate people that try new things. Yeah! All us herb growers have always been at the forefront of innovative thinking...I mean, who'd of thought of growing under lights in the first place?yea man it makes us better growers
I would highly suggest NOT doing that...I let the soil dry out fully and bring humidity down in the tent as well as cut light hours back to 6 about 4 days before to stress her to produce more resin minimal loss of yield only 2 grams difference but a lot more potent
there was a study that bricktop always used to post that found 12 hours produced a significant yield increase over 10 hoursWhere are these studies that show anything over 6 hours is a waste?
