6 ft. tall and starting to show preflowers..

Shit! I dunno how I screwed this up but I usually flush a week and a half ta two weeks prior to harvest....but my last watering was a week ago with a half dose of nutes......since then it has rained like 3 or 4 days........think I'll be good? I'm thinking yes but I just wanted to throw that out there... The more I look at different parts of the plant and its trichs there is some places where the trichs are 50% or more amber.....and some are dark ass amber......its chop time for sure!....I will take some pics before chop chop.....but seriously tho should I stall on some of the lower buds or just say fuck it......cuz either way if I dont chop them tonight with the rest, they will be chopped by no later than monday because of my schedule coming up..

fuck it, chop the bitch... haha. but no it wont affect the plant if you harvest part of it, just may get the smaller buds to fatten up a bit more.

LOL! yea I am chopping it for sure tonight but I just cant make up my damn mind! lol I guess basically I just need to find out if waiting on the lower branches til Monday is going to be beneficial to me or not really.....If not, its ALL going to be chopped tonight....cuz even tho the rest would be chopped on monday....if I chop half or so now and stress the plant ...there wont be much to be gained between now and monday anyway.....you know what I'm sayin?............but if there isnt much stress caused and I can benifit by leaving the rest til monday I'll go that route.......damn it! in about 10 min. I know I'm gonna be walkin in with the whole thing! lol

haha your funny man. just chop the top and by monday the bottom buds will be even fatter.

well she is officially chopped....the whole thing. I was up pretty late last night....but It was worth it. Oh an by the way as I was trimming I noticed a lot more amber trichs than I thought.....looking at the buds up close just with the naked eye they appeared to have a dingy brown dusty look to them but under the scope tho I'd say 50-75% of the trichs were amber. All and all I must say I am very pleased with the outcome of this strain so far....I dont like to quick dry and smoke samples so I will give you a full smoke report when the drying process is done......I always sample upon starting my cure.

Those clippings you see are only a small amount of what was actually taken off the plant but those are the clippings that are solid trichs....which I plan to use to make hash......call me crazy but I've never been into making hash mostly cuz i guess I've never wanted to take the extra time to do it, but this time I'd like to use this to make hash. So ok I know that once these clippings dry out, I run them over the silk screen to drop the trichs which leaves me with keif.....but then what is the next step to make hash?

theres lots of ways to make hash... if you have good grade kief you can just press it in the palm of your hand and it will stick togeather. or you can wrap it in cellophane and roll a wine bottle full of hot water over it. after you get the kief dont throw the rest away, make butane honey oil.

butane honey oil?...seriously how much can you piss pound a plant before its not worth it anymore!? lol! If you take the trichs off the leaves and then use the leaves for honey oil.... I cant imagine it would even do anything for ya

and you can do an acetone extraction.. haha theres many ways. u gotta get every bit of thc out of what u grow. i even save stems and make hash. your really missin out if you dont know about this stuff.

lol well I've not tinked with it too much after keif really...usually only thing I do beyond my harvest is make keif and sprinkle it on my bowls and blaze....maybe I'll look into that honey oil

dude kief is only one like two steps from hash finish the job put it in celophane and a wet towel in the oven and the press it youll love smokin some hash

i like to keep my kief the way it is so i can sprinkle on bowls bcuz it burns best that way, and if i want to smoke some hash by itself i just put about a dime size pile in the palm of my hand and press it with my thumb until it kneads into a solid piece. if it doesnt stick together when you do that then your kief has to much leaf matter in it.

so you put kief in the cellophane seal it up..wrap in towel...like towely towel or like paper towel? then put it on the oven...(on low?) for how long then press it eh?

noooo dont put it in the oven. just wrap it in cellophane, make sure its wrapped enough so it dosent rip open. then fill a glass bottle that you can cap with HOT water and roll this over your kief. theres no need for wet towels and ovens. this is strait from jeorge cervante's book and ive done it many times.

jorge cerventes does have some points but he has been wrong (not up to date) on things yes his works but theres more than one rite way skin a cat but ah you put it in cellophane and seal then wrap in damp paper towel so they dont burn and i cant remember what setting i kno it isnt real hot and after that you press it and let it cool repeat as you want i think it hold together better IMO
