6 CFL Cabinet Grow - Advice Welcome

Hey all,

Been meaning to get this posted sooner but nonetheless, I've started my cabinet CFL grow and finally got the time to post up some info here about it. Would love to hear feedback from you experienced growers.

The plants are currently 3 weeks old. Some of the photos shown were taken before.

The Space
I'm using a small filing cabinet I bought at a local thrift shop for $10 bucks. I hollowed out the drawers and fitted a PC fan for heat exhaust and to increase airflow. Since it's a smaller space, I was worried about heat. Luckily, I've been able to maintain great temps with this setup . It also has wheels, so moving it around is really easy.


Genetics
I was tempted to purchase seeds for my first grow, but I had some bagseed laying around so I decided to start with that... I know, it's not the best, but its free, and I'm learning.

Lighting
I mounted 6 CFL 6500k 65W bulbs in the top of the cabinet. You can see the arrangement in the photo below.


Soil
I used a custom mixture of 70% potting soil (no ferts), 30% Perlite. Haven't added any Nutes yet.
CO2
My buddy is letting me borrow this CO2 regulator. Haven't hooked it up yet as I need to buy a tank, but any advice on this? Is it worth it?


LST
As you can see I'm attempting LST with these plants. It's a bit early to tell, but am I going the right direction with this?

Nothing wrong with bagseeds, I don't think I would buy seeds unless I had to or If I was looking fora specific strain.

How many inches do you have from the very top of the cab to the top of your pot? It appears to be really tight in there but I could be wrong.

Its about 13 inches from the top of the pots, to the tip of the bulbs. Do I need much vertical space if I'm using LST?

EDIT: BTW the pictures don't show it well, but the second drawer does not have a bottom, so the plants have the full height of the cab to grow minus lights and pot height.

it'll be tight but possible I think.
