there's nothing wrong with having high levels of the chemicals like THC and CBD.. that's just "good weed".. most landrace strains have high levels of either THC or CBD or both depending on wether it's more indica or sativa.. I find hybrids better cause you get a more interesting high if it's a mix of effects (indica & sativa) a "pure" landrace strain say.. hindu kush still has mean levels of THC etc..

there are still some nice landrace strains out there for sure.. one company, afropips, had a lot of nice sativa strains from africa that were hardly touched, but they went out of business i think awhile ago..
also, reeferman has a lot of really nice land race stuff from vietnam and a few other countries as well.. and of course on the indica side of things there is always hindu kush from a lot of breeders like sensi seeds or a few others...
sensi used to have a nice hawaiin indica that i smoked back in the 90s that was amazing smoke, but i don't think they are putting it out any longer, which is a real let down..
there's still alot of untouched for the most part landrace strains out there, just got to do a lot of looking around is all..

Are you sure about this Ive smoked some straight up medical grade and brain damage I don't know about that. But I guess go for some seeds like White widow or Blue hash from dinafem is good. Smoked some grown out from buddy. Or stuff that's been around for a long time. How do you know what percentage you would be getting anyway? You could grow a 22% thc just on chance.

well in light of what you are saying there there may as well not rate any strains with a THC content..!!

and resin seeds cannatonic is supposed to have a 1.1 of thc to cbd... sounds like exactly what you're looking for.. here's the description from the attitude on it for you..

Resin Seeds Cannatonic gives you the best of both worlds with this wonderful variety - a phenotype selected from the hybrid cross between a female MK Ultra(F1) & the all time famous G13 Haze male. Cannatonic is 50% indica and 50% sativa.
One of the added advantages of our specially picked Cannatonic cannabis seeds is that it flowers in around 70 days. For information purposes, 1:1 ratio THC:CBD and the yield it produces is 500g m2. Harvest outdoors is October and its yield is 250-400 per plant. Grows like an Indica, smells like a Sativa, Cannatonic renders you.

yes thankyou dude, I have already know about cannatonic it sounded very promising to me but again it has such high THC content even if it is 1:1 it is so high, a very interesting information and beneficial to anyone that sees this information, I will be looking to the USA for dome in depth analysis of just what effects such unaturally high levels of THC a process that will be available as most places in the world marijuana is classified as illegal hence there is little or no regulation research or awareness :leaf:

the word "breeder" and the word "landrace" really don't belong in the same sentence. get yourself some landrace weed (mexican, colombian, thai, afghani, jamaican etc.) and grow out some seeds. my advice is same as what olylifter420 said. it's really the only answer that makes sense.

and if you are looking for a higher cbd ratio: simply flower your plants longer than normal

Exactly. I got to say dude I like this thread, lately I've thought alot about the marijuana most people used in the past compared to today. While its true that the "older" and "original" strains have less THC that doesn't necessarly mean that they were better than what we have and grow today. Think about it; the less THC a plant has the more a regular user would have to smoke, the high levels of today's Mj means you can smoke less and still get the same high. Ie less smoke= healthier and easier on the wallet.

Also I know someone else suggested some bad Mexi bud, yeah its crap but only because it is "that weed"is the kind people used back in the day. Use the seeds from that bet you would end up with some killer stuff if you grew it yourself :bigjoint:

Heres a few more, the first one is a video, pretty cool:

Heres a real doctor talking about THC and Brain damage. Use the forward button to get to the third chapter of the video, this is where it talks about brain damage, or I should say the lack of:

Letting the plants go longer turns thc to cbn not cbd. That is fixed by genetics. Last I heard, Lebanese strains are 50/50 cbd and thc. That was from the Israeli scientist that discovered thc.
