T-3 , 2100's prob. Whatever configuration of your lights will give a person the option to grow w/ 1200 umol across the board.
If one was looking to achieve those Kind've #'s or from 1000 up. But I don't own a Tasty so I'm only going off your chart.
Would one get quantity pricing for that many lights? What would the cost be please?

While I'm still crafting the enclosures by hand it's difficult to justify discounts. 7 of them would provide 1575 watts of output for $3750. 5 T4-2100s would provide 1500w output for $3450. If someone can find a better deal I might consider a discount for those quantities.

Not trying to tell you how to run your biz or anything, but maybe $5 off per unit if order 5 or more.. Or maybe a $25 coupon if you order 5 or more.. Sometimes its just those little things that can sway a customer your way you know? But if you have more business than you can handle... no soup for you, right?

If someone wanted quantity it's something we can discuss. I wouldn't suggest no discounts because I'm too busy. It would indicate I'm too dumb or stubborn to get some help :) There is an expectation based on the amount of labor involved.

I was just trying to make the point that the lamps are already a pretty good deal.

So what configuration of your lights will provide 1200 umols across the board/canopy, how many & what cost? Thanks!

Are you asking about PPF or PPFD?

My lamps have bin and driver current listed so this is information anyone can figure for themselves without relying on me. A 9x5 tent is 45 sq/ft = 4.2 square meters, so would take 5046 PPF to equal 1200 PPFD. The 2100 series output is about 2.3 umol/j and would require 2194 output watts to equal 1200 PPFD. 10 T3-2100s = 2250 output watts minimum.

That being said, I do have an interest in seeing that fair comparisons are being made.

There will probably be a small price drop on the T2-2100 in the near future. Nothing crazy, but the price per par watt will be in line with the larger lamps, so T2, T3, T4, will all be the same price per par watt. This will allow hex configurations using any of those lamps without worrying about whether it will impact the price to do it.

5 of them would provide 820 PPFD. It would be a good lamp count for that space. I do generally recommend the 800s as a balance between GPW and GPsw/ft. 700s, 900s, or higher, it's up to the customer.

What are you using?
I use Neo-Sol DS by Illumitex based out of Austin, Texas where they manufacture and assemble the LEDS. Solid as it pays for itself in one run, just saying. Why lurk around and get a bunch of biased info when I have real results.

It's a TRUE 1 to 1 replacement for a HPS ;-) No - And I can spray it all over with a high pressure SPRAYER! Do that with ANY other LED and its TOAST!

Enjoy!

Pics of the fixture?
Also, what strain is that? Looks delicious.

I like that Illumitex publishes the PPF of their lamps, something many companies don't provide.
