yes, enough to grow the plant, is it enough to flower it? you might get 7-10 grams out of it thats my guess... is it worth it?
 
Cfl dont give off much heat so i dont think heat would be an issue. But for flowering you want to use soft white cfls which are 2700 k and vegging use daylight cfls which are 6500 k

the sun is on my side of the room then drops to 74/75 rest of the time
 
general rule is 100 watts per plant but more is always better as long as your temps stay in check. I tried CFLs in a grow box but temps were too high so I'm growing in a the guest shower with a
400 watt HPS and it's going real good. 3 weeks into flower and can't wait till the end. Good luck to you! :weed:
 
I run 315 watts and share that among 12 plants. 105w CFL per 4 plants.
Not the biggest crop. But works for me.

With low penetration light like flouros, you want to spread out your light source over as much of the canopy as possible. You can use one bigger bulb, but it's going to be harder to get good coverage. Smaller bulbs get more efficiency, spread the heat out more, and allow you to ensure good light coverage. For less than $5, you can turn 1 socket into three.
 
sure but your talking $$$ and you sound like your trying to stay within a low budget, go to walmart and pick up a 12 pack of 23 watt cfl's ($24.00) in the appropriate spectrum for whatever stage of growth your in, be it veg or flower, then get those hooked up all around your plant, not just on top, in order to achieve greatest coverage, and get the bulbs within two inches of the leaves but never touching the plant if you can avoid it. Lastly have a small fan moving the air between the bulbs and plant in order to avoid hot spots and increase air circulation as well as strengthen the plants stem. With that your looking at a decent plant to be supported all the way through veg and flower and at the lowest budget range!
