2x OG Kushes
(EC 0.95 - 2.5L / 3L for 72h - 6.4 pH)
They are improving.

The water problem was certainly due to underwater and pots full of roots. I started giving twice as much water than before, spraying / irrigating from above and also making them absorb from below, the situation seems to be improving.

The nutrient problem is being resolved. After flushing from N toxicity I started them back on small doses of BioBloom, along with full dose of BioGrow and regular dose of Calmag, albeit a little bit late (you can see the oldest one is a little too light).

I am planning to switch to flowering phase in the next week / days. I will decide based on the signals given by the two plants as we get closer.

3x Autos
(EC 0.8 - 1.5L / 2L for 72h - 6.4 pH)
They are going well. I tried to give a low dose of BioGrow (<0.5ml / L) because I had seen some leaves turn yellow at the bottom. There was probably no need, postponing it to later. I started them on a medium-low dose of BioBloom for now, to be increased when necessary. Regular dose of Calmag since 2/3 R.O water.

I'm back!

At this rate I think this will be the last update before the Auto harvest, they have been doing pretty well for the last 3 weeks.
I also flipped the lights to 12/12 cycle last week, and it appears the OG Kushes have started stretching.

I defoliated the OGKs quite a bit before the switch, but they recovered all the leaves they had lost in very few days.

I stabilized the volume of irrigations to about 14% of the pot volume on all 5 plants. This value allows me to water every 3 days (4 max) and maintain a good wet / dry cycle on all plants.

I obviously have been raising the EC on all the plants. I've been keeping the ratio between the different nutrients as constant and as similar as possible to what the Biobizz table recommends, adjusting it slightly (0.5ml/L max weekly increment) only if I saw i needed an extra boost of something somewhere (eg. N/Biogrow on the Auto Mandarina that started yellowing and losing important leaves quite earlier than expected).

I would give the earlier Autos at least another 3 weeks, or more since they're under a 12/12 cycle.
What do you think?

Take care and see you next time, or in the comments as always! :weed:

Nice grow matey. I'm using the se 3000 in a 4x4 tent with 1 plant.
Thanks mate!
I've got the SE5000 one for free, just think about that!
I'm so fucking lucky i swear :bigjoint:

These lights are pretty goddamn good, much better than the SF series!

Nice little set up. I really like those lights, wish they were available when I upgraded my lights a year ago. Well they were available I guess but they were quite a bit more expensive than the SF 4000's I bought.

Unlucky!
Though, the SF series is no bad light either, it's just that these have crazy coverage and really low heat output. My PSU though isn't meanwell, i guess it's just another random chinese cheap brand.

Yeah the se series are great lights. Allows more light down through the plant. Here's a pic of my female 3 weeks into flowerView attachment 5111967
Never seen the black one, is it the previous model with no UV LEDs?
Beautiful plant though, my man!

Love the stakes and will probably use them as well if the OG Kushes' stretch gets out of hand, you know, you could even tie or link them to the others in some way and DIY your way to a scrog setup, i've seen it done in this video:

I never noticed that i stopped updating this diary just before the good shit.
Sorry folks.

Here's the full story: how it all ended.

Spoiler:
It was my best run so far!

Day 135
The OG Kushes finally showing some flowers. Autos starting to bulk up.

Apr7-diagonal.jpg

Did some cleanup on the OG Kushes, removed all the undergrowth and the most shaded branches.

Apr7-1-under.jpg

Tested the cloning setup on the cuts that i got out of the cleanup: all of them rooted like crazy after a couple weeks.

Day 147
All the plants were now properly flowering. The smell was starting to get unreal.

Apr21-opt.jpg

The OG Kushes were exploding with growth.

Apr21-1-zoom.jpg
Apr21-2.jpg

Autos had properly bulked up and were starting to empty the gas tanks.
Almost ready for the chop.

Day 157
Some closeups, before Autos finally got the chop.

Apr23-3.jpg

Apr23-4.jpg

Apr23-5.jpg

At first i just chopped the big top colas, then chopped progressively the lower colas during the next few days.

Repurposed my 100W stealth cabinet as a stealth controlled drying room. All trays handmade.
Dried all 3 at 17-18 °C (equivalent to 60-64 °F) and 58-60% RH for approximately 15-20 days, then bottled them up and burped them regularly during the next few weeks.

After the "Golden Cure", these came out at about:
50g + 80g (Sweet Tooth Auto #1 and #2).
Pretty potent stuff, but very smooth hitting.
At first it had a dominant incense aroma, with just notes reminiscent of Mango.
After 1 month the Mango aroma had become overbearing.
Very fun and pleasant. Not too resinous. Very persistent body high.
Accompanied working days and gave relief from anxiety or sadness or hard work.
Great daily smoke. My trusty slow horse.

40g (Auto Mandarina).
Very potent stuff. Much more strong hitting.
Dominant Mandarin orange aroma from the first day, it just got better with time.
Very pleasant. Very resinous. Very energetic high.
Huge cottonmouth. Lots of giggles. The first to go out of stock by a long shot.
Has been the life of parties/nights out for me and my buddies for months.
It's still revered and dearly remembered to this day by the people that were blessed with it.

Total of 170g

Day 168
The OG Kushes went through a little nutrient lockout, stressed a bit and showed a couple bananas, that were promptly removed.
Here they were looking like they were almost finished bulking up and starting emptying the gas tanks.

Day 183
Finally the two oldest and most troubled ladies of the bunch got the axe, after more than 6 months of excruciating work.
Here they are, in all their glory.

May25.jpg

May25-bud-1.jpg

May25-bud-2.jpg

May25-bud-3.jpg

May25-bud-4.jpg

I had to set up both the tent and the cabinet as drying rooms and it was barely enough to dry it all.
Trim prison was real.

Luckily all went well, and the happiness of getting such an harvest kept me going until the last little leaf was off.
Went for top quality again: 17-18 °C (equivalent to 60-64 °F) and 58-60% RH for approximately 15-20 days.

May25-harvest.JPG

May25-harvest-2.JPG

After the same "Golden Cure" these 2x OG Kush weighed respectively 199g + 164g.
The final aroma was a very pungent mixture of Lemon and Diesel/Gasoline.
The long maturation caused it to have an intense and persistent head and body high.
Very very potent stuff and hard hitting.

Not gonna lie, i had to develop some resistance at first, because the first like... 20 joints... i simply couldn't handle it and would end up losing my grip. During the next months, it even made some people unwell. It definitely "rocked some souls" and deflowered people who had never tried cannabis.

After we learned to respect it, it ended up being loved and used in every way you can imagine: joints, blunts, bho, vapes, cakes, sweets, etc.
Thank you girls.

Total 360g

The full run came out at about 530g, and considering the light is 480W it was the first time i got to broke the 1g/W limit!
It also was the first time i had one plant end up yielding more than 100 grams. Not one, but two.
The biggest one almost hit 200 grams.

Summing up, this took a lot of work and dedication.
It probably won't happen again with the same setup.
Maybe some day, with like hydro or automated watering lines... but not with soil and not with watering cans and organic nutes.

During this 180+ days i had to water manually for more than 6 months:
- Countless liters of water were carried up and down the stairs.
- Countless times the pots were lifted and checked for their water content.
- Every other day the plants were carefully inspected, photographed, and cared for.

I tried it. I had the opportunity and desire and drive to do it, i "did it" and i came out on the other end with a successful harvest.
I liked it a lot. I had lots of fun, but i won't do it again anytime soon, that's for sure.

Thank you every one for following, helping out, giving advice and generally spreading good vibes and being a cool person.

I will be back soon with a microgrow run in the stealth 100W cabinet.

Bye!
