hell yeah, sounds like a good plan, i like that. i'll have to check those fans out!!yeah bro the spray adhesive would have worked and I didn't think about it till after I got double sided tape and already had 3 sides in lol... But yeah I think that would work perfect.. Um fan is going to be mounted on the top of the box, cut a 9in dia circle and fan slide in up past the back of the fan vents... So it works perfectly, Its just a 9in Honeywell fan I got from lowes for like 15 bucks... I'm thinking about getting another one and doing the same thing but putting the second fan on the timer so that at night 1 fan circulates air and when lights on you have 2 fans keep it cool, with 185cfm (I think thats what it is, if not close to that ) it should be perfect and there cheap so if it goes out I'll just get another one
ps.. when I said they I was high and just meant the plant in there I knew it was 1 plant but you know how your brain thinks 1 thing and your hands type another... lol
dam, thats a great deal man!! 2 for 1!! mines unplugged right now, im saving it for when she starts getting real stinky, LoL. looks like a trip to target also, LoL.nah man, the entire unit for $8.00. it was marked as $15. when i got to the register she said 8 something.. the next day i went back and got the two they had left...
thats what I was thinking/hoping for lol... I have a 4 socket vanity with a piece of vent pipe for a reflector... 4 x y adapter going to run 6 x 2700k 23watt and 2 x 6500k 26watt... Passive intake at the bottom front of box and exhaust top back of box so I'm hoping that it will bring the air in and suck it up and around the lights/reflector to help keep it cooler then my pc case ran... We will see in time I supposenice, thanks man, gives me more ideas on the new box. straight out the top exhaust, should suck the heat from the lights real good.
the bigger box would keep those temps down a little.... and put the exhaust out the very top like these guys are talking about.cd, grassy is looking real fine . you're gonna have colas the size of your arm dude! can't wait till you harvest that monster. and blade should give you a nice chew as well!
i love this trueair revolution. they're gonna have a shortage of those things. i have 4 of them (2 in use, 2 in storage) and a few replacement filter packs. i also found that crazy 2 for 1 deal at target, so go for it if you can find it. my shorty wardrobe box has been in a state of constant upgrade, but that's because i only built it a week into flowering and i had to hurry up before the whole apartment stank up. for the next grow i'm gonna take my time like monk0 and really set it up how i want... probably be upgrading to the "grand" to keep temps cooler at the canopy (i assume the extra height will work for that...hm...?)
i have never had any luck with reflectors in the box, to much heat build up.thats what I was thinking/hoping for lol... yeah me either, this should be a nice haul here. i cut the blade bud, was up in the lights, LoL. yeah, i think so, i wanna get the new box and try to make it work with just the passive intake and 1 big fan out the top, but like i just said, i still think any type of refletor is gonna trap heat.cd, grassy is looking real fine . you're gonna have colas the size of your arm dude! can't wait till you harvest that monster. and blade should give you a nice chew as well!

just over 4 oz's, and yes, i think i can get that and a little more from this girl if these buds blow up.Right on. How much did you yield off of your last two pants? You Think your one monster this grow will equal it?
thanks bro!!Damn Bro! (all I have too say)
thats cool, just more things to mess with when i get the new box.yeah my reflector is open on the ends though so it will let the heat raise out from the ends... 1/2in gap between the side of the box and each side of the reflector... so hopefully that will keep the hot air from getting trapped..
dude you just gave me an idea for a $15 or less vented reflector... I need a uhaul box dangit.
exactly, just do it hippy!! LoL. thanks bro!! yeah, let us know what you come with hippy.hey hippy, get the uhaul box already!!
cd, grassy is looking better than ever. those main branches / colas / vipers whatever you wanna call them, are looking so massive, and they're only gonna get massiver... and the buds are starting to look like real buds now. love how everything is looking bro.
interesting info on the reflectors and heat traps... hippy i'm curious what you come up with. i wonder if "panda film" which is white has a better light-to-heat reflecting ratio...
i have something about all that, i just looked but couldnt find it, i will later, mylar was the most reflective though i believe.I prefer to use flat white in any small area mylar is far more efficient from a reflective standpoint but if it get's hotter I can't put in as many lights, so I sacrifice the 5-7% reflection bonus from mylar and use flat white or flat white products and I am in turn able to put more light's in so for the 5-7% loss I add another 15-25% watt's and I made a major gain worthwhile sacrifice... following my math? little sleepy not sure if my analogy is right as my %'s may be off on the reflectivity bonus
