My boss was adopted and makes 7 figures. My first gf in college was adopted as was her sister. The adoptive parents of those two had to travel to Taiwan to get them or face a 3 year waiting list in America. They chose Taiwan.

On the other side...My wife still gets choked up about her sister that was aborted 25 years ago.

As I said earlier...I am a atheist. No closet bible thumper would say that. But only people who have never attended a large church would not realize just how many millions upon millions upon millions of dollars Christian churches donate to
shelters for women that choose to have babies instead of abortion. You have to have your head buried 14 feet deep in the sand to even think of claiming Christians do not support both financially and with love children of parents that give them up.

Palin's daughter getting pregnant, is something that could happen to any of our daughters ... and does.

The Palin's have exhibited their moral standard on the abortion issue twice that we know about. Once, when Sarah became pregnant with a Down's Syndrome baby and decided to raise it instead of having an abortion. Then second, when the daughter became pregnant out of wed-lock and didn't abort the baby. I wouldn't call that hypocrisy, would you?

The nail was CLEARLY when McCain got 1000% behind Bush's bailout plan. The race was neck and neck up until that point. Check the polls. After McCain PROVED beyond any reasonable doubt that he was in fact the exact opposite of a Maverick...his support left him in droves.

Seriously, I link this video everytime an abortion thread pops up because it's so great at explaining exactly how I feel about the subject.

So far everyone, even a lot of people claiming to be 'pro-life', are swayed by the arguments it presents.

Thoughts?

I'd also like to see the sources on the 49 million number, as well as the adoption numbers as both seem to be pretty inaccurate. Not saying they're wrong, just that I'd like to see some proof, I mean who the hell would believe AC on blind faith like that... oh wait... howbout the guy with the blue font... lol

What am I talking about? There are billions of people in this world that believe that every life is sacred. They aren't JUST Christians...or even *gasp* JUST Americans.

very few docs are ever killed i personally believe in a womens right to choose but u CANNOT be pro-life and agree that killing docs that perform abortions is ok

What arguments?

Death penalty is punishment for people that take others lives. That there are mistakes made...is horrible but mistakes are not consious choices to purposely kill innocent humans.

War is horrible and I am against it. So using that is pretty weak as if it was MY CHOICE there would be no war. BUT IT IS NOT MY CHOICE.

Do I feel abortions are right all of the time...including if the Mother would die?
You know your argument is weak when you have to find the least likely scenario as a defense of an entire enterprise of murder. How about this? If only the Mother or the child can live...ask the Mother. If she cannot respond...save the one most likely to live. If they are both equally as likely to live? <---wow now you really have it down to .00000000000001% likelyhood of this but wtf I'll play...if both are equally likely to live...ask the Father. Now to go to .0000000000000000000000001% If both are equally likely to live, the Mother is unable to give her thoughts, there is no Father and there is a solar eclipse?
It is the Doctor's choice...and not some random group of politicians that live 1,500 miles away.

The four of five people in the past decade or two that killed doctors have no leg to stand on. Everyone else's arguments are not weakened by them.
