week 1 of flowering (sorry for the bad quality my phone broke) The taller one is doing well the shorter one is growing just really slow, i was just going to grow the tall 1 but the short one is growing roots so ima just let her grow out. the only problem im having now is temp issues but im getting an a/c asap. hopefully ill b able to tell by next week if there females!

ah i think you shoulda done it already... i top above the second node when they get to 4 or 5 nodes, usually around 4 wks veg. If i was you i would cut off a clone or 2 (super easy in dwc) and plant it, let it veg for 2 wks under a cfl, and put it in there with the moms. that way you use all your space. sooner you take the cutting the better. i think topping in flower (even so early) is bad for the plant.
dwc cloning is super easy, just raise the water level to the stem of the cutting. and then you could have a perpetual grow if you want.

I was going to do it when i was vegging but she had no nodes at all, now she has like 7 or 8. you think it would be worth topping her now or should i just let her grow out ? and i would clone now but i dont know if shes female or not if she is ill def clone her

U know u don't need to make ur plant flower to tell what sex it is, if u just leave it in veg long enuf it will show sex. That is actually how u know ur plants r ready to start flowering when they start to show preflower pistils and hairs. That doesn't mean u can't have it in 12/12 though it just won't flower as quickly as a plant that has shown sex in veg. I can take some pics of my plants so u can c when the lights come on but 2 I let veg till it had preflowers and the 3rd I started in 12/12 b4 I was sure it was female so its not budding as quickly as the other 2.

100% correct but be careful when growing sativa's. They get very tall.

i topped 3 nodes just to see what the outcome will be.. also for my next grow im thinking about growing some autoflowers, has anyone ever grown autoflowers and do you recommend it? i know that they yield less and are less potent but 2 months from seed to harvest sounds pretty good to me. i could grow atleast 5 in this tent if i put em each in there own bucket. im just having trouble on picking what strain to grow i was leaning towards ultra lemon haze and afghan kush ryder..
