400w hps too much for this homebox?

Also, is that constant? or just a few changes per hour will suffice on a timer?

Yes that is constant, turning off your Exhaust for even a half hour would result in a HUGE flux in Temp. and a terrible stress to the ladies....

That light is perfect, I am running the exact same thing, tent lights, check out my grow in my sig, I just mine into flowering. Our homebox S or Originals say that they recommend a 250W but like the homie said, as long as you keep the air moving you will be fine. Good luck.

Yep thanks, I actually ended up going with a Sun Systems 2 enclosed ballast, 250w HPS and running constantly, this fan almost keeps it too cool. Canopy never gets above 74F.

I could have gotten the 400w easily. ESPECIALLY a remote ballast.

Hindsight, meh. Live and learn. I'll still get some good buds out of it.
