Nice set up man! Nice to see your ironing your problems out. It looks like you need to start feeding a low dose of N rich nute. It looks like it hungry by those yellowing leafs. I've got a ww in flower just now, mine is a hungry lady has been since early veg. Peace and gl

So how are the plants doing? bongsmilie
This is for you man, lol i ended up going to a different forum because i wasn't getting the response that i needed since its my first grow.
--Last picture is the recent picture from today.
--Should I go ahead and switch the lights to 12/12???

Week 4 Day 4

Gave the babies the nutes at almost full dose. They are actually getting big pretty fast.
Leaves are still yellow on the tips but nothing have changed so far as to spread of yellowing. So I'm guessing plants needed food bad.
I did check the runoff and the ph for that was 6.7, let me know if that looks ok

TEmps are at 75
Humidity at 30-40
Lights running 24hrs

Week 5
decided to do scrog and made the screen using window screen frame, holes are 2x2
I think i set the height of the screen at about 13 inches from the soil and the plants are 10-11 inches tall and they are 5 weeks old.

Week 5 Day 5
The babies are defiantly trying to push thru the screen. Now I know why people like SCROG. I still don't know exactly what I need to do with the branches, but im going with the flow, trying to keep the plant under the screen by any means...I think i messed up on cropping for one of the plants, I probably went a little too low where I was suppose to cut it. Lesson learned, crop at the right spot and crop about a week before putting the screen up, not the same day.
Gave them water last night. I finally got my water schedule down now, Cant wait for the next grow.

Looks like I might have to wait another week for the screen to get filled up before i switch to 12/12.

Week 6 day 2

Week 6 Day 3

Week 6 Day 5

****TODAY on the 15th they are 7 Weeks EXACT, should i switch to 12/12 or wait?****

Keep us posted. I'm very interested in this grow, because it is almost identical to the grow I will be starting in a month or so.

I don't know much about scrog, but it seems like maybe you should tighten up the screen a bit...but who knows...I certainly don't.

I'll be checking back regularly.

Day 1 in flower

Thanks for all the replies!!!
Finally did the switch today, lights will be on from 6am to 6pm
What does the temps need to be on and off. Im guessing 75on 65off, is that good for white widow?

Here is a little something i found on the net. This is not from my experience just my research. Hope it helps good luck.

Proper temperature is one highly variable factor. Most books state optimum grow temperature to be 70-80 degrees, but many list extenuating circumstances that allow temperatures to go higher. Assuming genetics is not a factor, White Widow plants seem to be able to absorb more light at higher temps, perhaps up to 90 degrees. High light and CO2 levels could make this go as high as 95 degrees for increased growth speed.* An optimum of 95 degrees is new data that assumes very-high light, CO2 enrichment of 1500 ppm and good regular venting to keep humidity down. It is not clear if these temperature will reduce potency in flowers. It may be a good idea to reduce temperatures once flowering has started, to preserve potency, even if it does reduce growth speed. But higher temperatures will make weed plants grow vegetatively much faster, by exciting the weed plants metabolism, assuming the required levels of CO2 and light are available, and humidity is not allowed to get too high.
With normal levels of CO2, in a well vented space, 90 degrees would seem to be the absolute max, while 85 may be closer to optimum, even with a great deal of light available. Do not let the room temperature get over 35 C (95 F) as this hurts growth. Optimal temperature is 27-30 C (80-86 F) if you have strong light with no CO2 enrichment. Less than 21 C (70 F) is too cold for good growth.
Low temperatures at night are OK down to about 60 degrees outdoors, then start to effect the growth in a big way. Mid 50’s will cause mild shock and 40’s will kill your weed plants with repeated exposure. Keep your weed plants warm, especially the roots. Elevate pots if you think the ground is sucking the heat out of the roots. This is an issue if you have a slab or other type of cold floor.
As temperature goes up, so does the ability of the air to hold water, thus reducing humidity, so a higher average temperature should reduce risk of fungus.
Contrary to many reports, high humidity is not good for weed plants except during germination and rooting. Lower humidity levels help the weed plant transpire CO2 and reduce risk of molds during flowering.
Studies indicate the potency of buds goes down as the temperature goes up, so it is important to see that the White Widow plants do not get too hot during flowering cycles.

if ur setup is in your basement i would suggest getting a whole house humidifier. It makes a world of difference my average temp is around 68 to 71 degrees and humidity 49 to 52 percent each plant is 4 feet plus tall in the 3rd weeks of flowering. The plant is 63 days old total.

i dont even use the humidifier anymore and the humidity is around 40-50 on its own because of the leaves. and the temps are actually 70-74 on and it stays at 60 for off because of the heater i got in the tent.
Need to start working on pruning soon but its a bitch getting the back plants. sucks ill just wait a little and then do it all the way the in back. Also any tips on killing the smell, when i open the tent all the way the smell gets all over in the basement for atleast good 2 days but goes away.

Ok bad news and update..
Week 1 day 5 into flowering
I had heater on top of the light and i came home a lil wasted and thought it was a good idea to look over plants and water them. I managed to knock over the heater on the screen and my screen is ruined, there is no way i could even fix it now so there goes myscrog lol
pissed because i did break few branches and i dont know if they will recover or grow. but I checked it today and they dont look that bad so who knows. Im just gonna leave it the way it is now, no more training since the screen is super loose.

I read every post and would like to add, FFOF is way to hot for seedlings. Try FF lightning warrior. Ocean forest is the reason you had a little burn and it looks like it might have stunted them a week or so. I have had a few take off by using ocean forest, but I have had just as many burn up by using it. Water only for seedlings, unless it show any need for food, soil should have enough food to get it to about 6" tall, then transplant.

I use 2 part FFOF with 1 part FFHF when I transplant to veg, FFOF when I transplant to flower. The soil is hot enough to where I don't feed until about 3rd week of veg. and the 3rd or 4th week of flower. I also use nirvana veg and flower tabs. That helps feed them for the first weeks of veg. and flower. During seedling stage, I use nothing but water. I know it is costly, but I use distilled water through entire grow. 3rd grow and I don't use a PH meter. I bought one awhile back and didn't know you was suppose to keep it in water all the time. Gave me a bad reading all the time so I pitched it, and didn't look back. Below is a link to first grow, I'm finishing up my 3rd time in about 2 weeks. My method of growing is changing each time, This last one seems to be the best in quanity so far. Now have to pick at the right time. Good luck bro.

yea the branches that tore from the main steam are actually still growing so it looks ok and i even took the screen off because it was too loose and wasnt helping much and getting in the way.

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet little first grow well impressed
you can't beat a damp towel hangin in your tent to raise RH, thats if your still worried about humidity next grow

WEEK 2 IN FLOWER

buds are starting to form
Temps are 77 day 60 night
humidity at 30-50%
Watering them every 7 days, i think i should water them more, maybe twice a week??
