yea for flower you should go below the 35K temperature. I run a fluorescent grown and I am running 462 Watts. I have set up fluorescent tubes though. you can do it with CFL's it will just take a lot to get what you need. The daylight CFL's usually max at 26 Watts so you need roughly 15 - 20 to have a healthy amount of growing light. As for the flowering spectrum bulbs which usually run a lower wattage you may need more like 30 bulbs. Good luck and be creative no one needs to go broke here it's a weed.

thanks guys u have got me motivated to save my girl. i think ill go with the 400w HPS lamp. are bloom nutrients necessary for interesting yields ? Also off the subject has anyone heard or possibly grown the K2 strain as it seems to be a mystery on this website!?
