matt i am actually campin this weekend, but it may end up being closer to you. send me a text later!

poly i would love to toss these bitches in my flower tent, but i gotta build my cloner first! ordering the parts as i type this actually (well you know what i mean) but thanks for the compliment! i did not TOUCH these ladies as they grew, tbh its kinda amazing to me how theyve grown! i have not ph'd once, ive used straight tap water, and the recommended dosage the entire time. lol. i am pretty stoked to take some clones and i will certainly be playing with them. i really like the idea of mainlining as well...

yup. couldnt find mainlining for quite some time lol just spent like an hour searching for that thread to find that phrase. you know how it is. lol. anyway...just ordered a 400gph pump, 10 2" collars and netpots, and 5 ez clone nozzles. not ideal, but all the wife would allow. it will be sufficient, and i will get more over time. im going to be replicating matts cloner, in what is probably the same exact rubbermaid tote. how many sites u think we could fit on a lid matt? id love to have 30 or 40 sites and use it for the garden, been wanting to start some indoor veggies for the winter...

anyways yeah i need to throw them bitches in the flowering tent, AMPED to use that btw. i wonder how the wifes guna take me having to spend another 40 bucks on an air pump and 190 on a fan n carbon filter in a few weeks when they start to STINK. lol. its PRETTY hot in there, around 90ish and 38% rh...i know theyll be ok but, really need that fan to pull more air...

i was a ble to fit 18 sites i believe, i used way too many of them ez clone sprayers in mine so i think that 5 will work better, more pressure thhrough each one which will create more spray. i also have a 400 gph pump and it seems to work just fine even with my over abundance of sprayers, im probabaly going to get some screws or some kind of plug and close up 1/2 my holes and make some sort of curtain for it to stop it from leeking just need to figure out how to adhere the plastic curtain to the lid. ill shoot you a text in a little bit.

so as you can see (or maybe not lol) i chopped a bunch off the top of the ladies in the tent to tidy her up for FLOWER! omg its been so long. anyway i took the baby ladies and put them into my brandy new cloner! seems to be working pretty well! it leaked cause i ran an airstone line in the same spot that the power cord goes in, took the airstone out altogether as i dont think its necessary. plain water. those 5 nozzles put out a shit ton of spray! i took 7 clones. hope they root! im debating to do another set of 4 or just do 1 big one and mainline her, keep her wicked clean. sooooo stoked! :weed:

looking bushy in there im likening the simplicity of the setup. its like a time warp on this thread with the bi weekly updates lol.

keep filter and inline fan in mind

ya totally poly. ya know i thought it would be WAYY hotter in there with just the double fan setup i have goin on now, actually technically 3 fan system. one pushes in, and 2 of em inline suction out through that flex duct. i will replace the double with an 8" 720 cfm fan. push it through a 6" filter. pretty soon...smelliness comin up soon! i just went down and...whats it called, well i bent the stems of a couple shoots of the one thats in soil. im kinda jus messin with her, may be my mother if she picks up. she will be really cool though. i will take picks once she turns her heads. pretty stoked to see what my cloner can do! the sprayer is working beautifully, which was the main concern. i did kind of an S pattern, with one in the middle, and the other 4 at the cardinal points. sprays like crazy! i can put that in anything with a lid and it will function. i think i need to get a smaller drill bit and redo the lid so the net pots fit in better. it is def functional though so...

wait, i just bent the shoots, not chopped them off. thats supercropping right? chopping tops off? i did that to take the clones/tidy up my ladies that are flowering...bending i feel is like high stress training...???

super cropping is where you bend the stems, FIM is when you cafully cut the growing leaf budlet in half and moster crop is when you clone a flowering plant.

lol thank you for clearing that up for me poly. i did supercrop that plant. i have monster cropped before, thats how i got the female genetics i have been working with since the beginning. i flowered my first grow and got 2/11 females. monster cropped the females, and have taken clones in veg from them ever since. well, i guess 3 or 4 times now...im diggin the cloner though. that thing is BALLER. what a fantastic piece of equipment! i guess i just need to try fimming now...

things are looking great down there. i pushed the lights back from 10 to 10 now so i can see them with the light on when i get home from work...pretty excited that the temps in the flower tent are so low, and rh is perfect. i def expected upper 90s, not 83-84...and rh bottoms out at 40%! awesome...i will need the filter pretty soon for the stink, can i use the 2 6" duct booster (the 250 cfm ones) fans inline to push through the filter? does using 2 of those inline have any positive or negative benefits at all?

inline fan really moves air and it creates pressure(more efficient/effective use of the filter). if you use one you will not need the duct fans on that light at all, youll be able to use them for other projects or save em. another positive about the inline fan is it has a greater veleocity so the air will travel farther faster.

is there a downside? yeah they put off some noise, big, and heavy. but theres a downside to everything lol

i just loled at the size of your clones. yeah im sure that thing does work wonders with clones that size its hard to fuck up. lol i usually keep smaller mother and take smaller clones so ym aerocloner using a bucket had issue not being enough of a spray.... but now my water is so fucked im just using rocklwool so it doesnt matter he size of the clone.

ok i should clarify. i am have one six inch 250 cfm fan pushing air in a 6 inch intake port on the bottom right side of the tent. then, i have my hood, one side open to the interior of the tent, and the other hooked to flex ducting. the flex ducting goes up through another 6 inch port in the ceiling and comes out of the tent where there are 2 more of these 6 inch duct booster 250 cfm fans, one right after the other, inline. i do NOT as of yet have a powerful inline fan; that is my current question. putting 2 fans, one connected to the other (duct fans) directly, does that have any advantages or disadvantages? i mean, its not like twice as powerful, and observably cant tell the diff, although practically speaking it IS keeping my tent at a reasonable temp and humidity. so yeah the 2 fans pull right through the hood, and just vent into my lil space. it will need an air scrubber/air filter soon. i will be getting a 6 inch one. well...maybe ill get an 8 inch one to match the 8 inch fan i have picked out from hydrofarm...720 cfm. but i may not bother right away if i can get a 6 inch filter and hook it up to my current setup...

anyone have anything to say about using 2 fans in a row?

moves the same amount of air, just with less force needed. its a good thing to have2 fans in a row, just cost more elec and doesn't really increase airflow
