Very similar and also all lack intensity, they are all made in the same plant, just different specs and basically all work the same, you can get the same results with a mars/vipar as a California light works since they are basically the same light.

Of the grows my friend is doing Before with HID and now LEDs? He isn't a member of any forums and prefers a low key life. I'm sure he has some pics I had some of his last but didn't save them. He has always grown hid and about 5-6' tall plants from different seeds every grow as he prefers variety.

For this grow under the CLW it's expected 3 oz per plant for 20 plants. So 60oz under 1200w which isn't much but for first grow and most are seeds I got from some dude in Denver for free it's cool. There are 2 plants that would be worth cloning; Zeus from CK seeds and pink pussy from the guy in Denver. No clue what will happen under the timbers at this point still those are all high end seeds I forget names but all 1 strain. 1 of the best plants from seed is under partial timber and partial CLW the other is under partial GGL and partial Zelion HL so it's hard to say. His opinion is that he likes the timber DIY the best. He also really likes the go green LED which is cxb 3070s

So full results aren't in. The lights under the CLW and burple and GGL were all main lined so lesson learned is it looks awesome now but the 6 weeks younger plants under the timber are bigger. After this grow I'll ask him to take off the Stella HB lenses on the timbers.

Also using 5 gallon bags had always used 7-10gal. I had 50 5 gal bags I gave him which he doesn't like them because he thinks it's a limiting factor on this grow.

We shall see. His opinion is all the LEDs are better; more dense and oily than HID. They're all turning purple which is likely temps. before he always had 2x 1kw and 1 600w.

Great, please don't take offense that was obviously directed at Yodaweed. Just wondering what the inner workings of their hypothesis are? Just curious...

Sleep deprivation is my excuse..... I'm sure his reasonings are lingering from a mars experience or similar worthless lights.

Saw a dude drop 5k on mars reciently, expecting what he read on mars website to come to fruition.....

I know you have a ton a shit of work going on,but....... are you working, have worked or planning to grow out any skunk lines or crosses? mmmm skunk :peace:

I'm busy in the Middle East so I handed over my lights while I'm away. Could be years unless the next pres reduces combat operations. YOLO

From grower:
Just ordered 20 purple train wreck, got 4 free bubble kush and 1 original skunk all feminized

So to answer....1 skunk.
This next grow will be a legit light comparison. The CLW SS 550 will be adjusted to meet their recommend foot print as now they're way diluted. And the Timber grow light kits will lose lenses and maintain a close proximity to canopy. All will get larger pots. Should be good

I'm stuck between the CLW 550, the black dog 600w, the amare eclipse, and cob northern lights .. 3x3 tent, dwc, 2 plants. Any suggestions?

Mmmm black dog is shit for sure. You'd be the most happy with CLW because it's cool and you can play with colors for veg flower and finish. The northern grow lights will likely give you the most bang for your buck. of all of them and is most efficient of all of them. The eclipse probably uses cxb3070 so that's ~20% less light than same wattage of northern grow lights. So I say it's between those two.

Only ran co2 for 1 week and temps are 65-75 so not the most ideal but pretty awesome.
