Any pics?
pic 1 under the led is what happened after the flush.

I just hit about week 2 of flower. I did some pruning because they were extremely bushy and I didn’t do any LST or topping in veg. I know it may stress them some but it’s early flowering so I have faith that they’ll easily recover. My fan leaves were huge. There’s holes in the sides of the buckets also. I think I got the watering under control. I think the main issue was that I was only using the veg spectrum during veg and not the full spectrum. I feel like an idiot. Now I realize they weren’t getting as much light as they could’ve been during veg and probably would have turned out much larger.

The led photo is when issues started. Now after I flushed they haven’t been bad. The next pics are from today after pruning

Also to add I’ve been using tap water most the grow. My tap water is about 140PPM city water. I only add half of FF nutes to that and no Calmag unless I’m using distilled. Since I flushed them with a couple gallons of PHed tap water 4 days ago, I followed up with a feeding using distilled water this time and nutes. Just so they can get in order.

Calmag is the number one nute you should use. In a 5 gallon bucket, you are probably over watering. When you plant some in a pot you should start with watering everything week. As they get bigger it should be twice a week. Transplant for bloom. Then same thing. Water once a week and by the end of bloom you will be watering twice a week. When a plant is small you don't need to water the whole 5 gallon bucket. That's why is better to use the correct size pot for the size plant. That's probably were your gnat problem started.
I put auto seeds straight into a two gallon. They flower out in the two gallon. When it's a seedling I just water around the roots not the whole pot.
Don't over water. It's a weed, just left it alone. It will show signs when it needs watering.
If you transplant and its root bound. Gently break the root ball apart a little. Will help roots grow out.

You might want to raise those pots off the tent floor so they can drain better. Only has to be a few mm

Thanks. I’ll try and do that. The reason I wasn’t using cal mag is because my tap water at 140PPM has traces in it but I’ll use some with tap water and see what happens
I don't use it either unless I open a new bag of coco. My water is similar. Hard but good.

Day 29 flower. Expected bugger bud sites by now so idk if it’s my light or maybe these strains will just blow up late in the game but they’re doing ok for now. No deficiencies or anything showing.

I also have another plant in veg outside in a 5 gallon pot on my back porch and I just topped it. It’s been sitting out in the sun for over a month looking pretty good. When these plants finish I’m gonna veg that one for another month or so so that it gets huge. I didn’t veg these long enough and neither did I top them. I want my next plants to be huge.

Update, week 4 of flower.

today I figured out I was actually using the hydro solution of FF grow big nutes so I ordered the soil version. I’ll switch on next feeding but I don’t think it’s too negative effects. Different NPK values for the two but the hydro version has less N and more K but I think that works for me since I had nitrogen toxicity anyways.

I think next grow I may go larger and try organic. It just sucks I’m doing indoors with not a lot of space.

Today I also instructed molasses into my feedings in an attempt to fatten buds. I wish I would’ve done that earlier but better late than never. They seem to be doing well.

Its early days I wouldn't worry about the bud size.

Sounds like you are changing from tap water to distilled water as your source water all willy nilly, stay more consistent and choose just one and dial in the nutes.

Crazy part is I had a 4th plant vegging indoors with these but I removed it due to space. I was gonna let it just die but I put it on my back porch for shits giggles to see what would happen. It was doing bad when I put it out there but it bounced back heavy these few weeks. Man nature is amazing and I wish I could grow outdoors. Now once my other plants are done flowering I'm gonna put this one back in the tent. It's gonna be a two + month veg at that point. I might have to transfer to a 7 or 10 gallon pot

How does the node spacing look on that one? I wish I had space to move it indoors and flower it right now but I don't. I may start LSt training so it doesn't get to talk

The side branching seems to be growing very well on the plant you just pictured, almost looks as if you already have slowed the main cola down

I certainly do love being able to legally grow personal outdoors
